Race Grooves, that isn't the Ford GT. That is the GT40. Which is the 60's race car that inspired the GT. But what makes the GT40 so much more special is it defeated Ferrari in LeMans 24 Hours(one of the hardest endurance races in the world) and Ferrari at the time had over 5 years in a row. So for Ford to beat Ferrari and take 1st 2nd and 3rd place was unbelievable! The GT40s sell for millions now and are legendary cars.

azhurelwarrior so me and my brother went to a swap meet one day. There was this guy that had classic ass hotwhweels for $1. He found the Ford GT40 in the yellow container thingy. I asked him what the hell was the difference between that GT40 and the GT? And he responded with that, so he was right.

I know the guys in the DCRX league (including me) are happy about the GT-40's return. One of the most successful and iconic cars of the FR Championship. Last years champ, and 3 of the 4 cars were GT-40's. (The other car was a ThunderStreak)

Very cool set from this wave! I love how the GT40 got to come into this line!! Kinda bummed the 67 Mustang didn't make it again. Still wondering how the 69 Dodge Charger has made it three times now! Krazy luck that one has gotten! Still a very cool set indeed! Also the Torino has different wheels then last year's set set. Other than that the Charger 69 and Daytona are pretty much the same cars. Good set and good vid RG!

yeah the orginal 60's ford GT is worth a lot of money, plus you can only get kit cars of the GT 40 as they only made a few of the GT 40 for the public

Yes. The Supra from 2 Fast 2 Furious had the exact deco as from the model. It only appeared in the first race in which it crashed and also in the famous huge scramble scene as just another car taking part. The card that only had the words "The Fast and The Furious" is used for the cars of the 4th movie AKA Fast and Furious 4. The green Grand Torino? Was driven by the guy who killed Vin Diesel's girlfriend in the movie. Well that guy died later in the movie in the chase which also includes the Subaru driven by Paul Walker.

Great Video. Picked up my set of 8 here in Canada. My fav is also the Ford GT and love the Nissan 350z. Picked up a couple of extra if those. But I feel ripped off. I don't understand how Walmart in Canada charges 3.94$ a car when Walmart in the USA only charges 1$. Blows my mind, but still love the set! Keep your videos coming. Love them!!

As long as they are selling it at a cheaper price, i think thats alright. But here, all the collectors are buying Hot Wheels cars and selling them at higher prices! Even if its a new case like the McLaren P1, they'd sell it for 12SGD! (around 8USD, as hotwheels cars here are 3.90SGD) Mark, i dont know... Sometimes i feel like not collecting hot wheels anymore just because of these people. What do you think?

If I am not mistaken the Nissan 350z is from Tokyo Drift--probably the best movie out of the bunch TBH and definitely worth the watch. The writing below the english is just Fast and Furious phonetically spelled out in katana/japanese.

I don't know why but these cars are hard to find in Canada. For some weird reason 99% of the time at Wal-Mart the only 2 cars they have are the Ford Gran Torino and the Daytona. On the rare occasion when they have some of the other models I snap them up. The problem with that is in Canada each car costs $3.94! That gets very expensive! It is good to know that they actually come in a mixed case but they are hard to resell because the retail price is 4 times higher. Thanks for the video

Hey Mark. Those cars are awesome. Are they $0.83 in the USA? They sell for $3.94 here in Canada. I can see myself paying $2.00, but $3.94 is too much. By the way I just saw the FURIOUS SEVEN last weekend, and in my option it's the best one since the first movie. You should go see it.

Another great video. Must be nice having them priced at $1 for a car. I think it was mentioned that in Canada they are around $3 plus tax. They are in Brazil since early march but here they came in 12 cars boxes and you only make one complete 8 car set per box...the very same 4 models you got 10 each, are the xtras in the 12 car boxes (all the boxes are the same) so Subaru, Licoln, Ford GT and Nissan are the hard to find here.

We got them here in mexico too i only saw the gran torino and the charger daytona at one of the many walmarts here in mexico but i got the whole set of 8 from a dude at the swapmeet but theyre expensive here it cost me 400 pesos here which is like 30 or 40 dollars depending on the value of the dollar

Walmarts in Miami never put the dumpbin display up. They simply hang them along with the mainlines which means there aren't that many hung up. Super frustrating. Got the whole set though a month ago, minus the Supra. 4 Walmarts and of those the two that had these had no Supras. I got 2 STI's and 350z's though. I wish I knew someone who'd be willing to trade for a Supra, it'd literally complete my collection (minus the retro entertainment Charger, R35, and Chevelle from the original release).

I had the chance to open a FNF dump bin and not all the cases had an even distribution of the 8 cars. There was definitely a lesser quantity of 1 of the import models, I forget which one. But unlike the Mustang from the first FNF series there were still plenty to go around.

You should watch the movies, they're really good! I hope I'll find them in Belgium, I won't pick up extras because of the price. The ones from the last serie costed €3,50 each and that's a little too much. The Supra and the 350z (from "Tokyo Drift") are my favorites. Nice vid as always!

I was disappointed with their choice of models from certain movies. The 2 Fast 2 Furious Supra was not one of the main cars in that movie, and the Daytona has been released so much lately, I was hoping for a more obscure car from Furious 6. I loved the GT, and the Nissan from Tokyo drift though. So I picked those two up. Their was no DCharge Grand Sports in my mix though. Probly scalpers.

It was released in Malaysia like 2 months ago but so far the only ones that are seen at Toys R Us are the Dodge Charger R/T, the Dodge Charger Daytona, the Ford Gran Torino, the Buick Grand National and the Toyota Supra. The rest are nowhere to be seen and i have a feeling it's already been taken behind the scenes :( Also, the Supra, despite being spotted, is a big target for scalpers as i've not seen it in the flesh :/ They sell for about 5 dollars a piece over here and the reselling price for it is about 10-20 dollars a piece and ever increasing. Starting to contemplate to get a case for myself if it goes any higher :|

As much as I love the supra from the 2 fast 2 furious movie. I'm not sure if Im going to pick it up. In order to make it appeal more to kids, they had the colors of the tampos changed. The car itself has the correct shade of orange. But the red afro pick is supposed to be brown, the white clouds is supposed to be tan, and the green further background clouds is supposed to be a tan-ish shade of orange. It's just too many color inaccuracies for my taste.

Qatar Airlines? I guess it went from Thailand to California the long way (west, across Asia, Europe, the north Atlantic, and then Canada and the United States, unless Qatar has a trans-Pacific route. Excluding the Fast and Furious cars that show up in the Retro Entertainment series, which are nice, I find myself reluctant to collect the Fast and Furious series Hot Wheels cars because Walmart Canada prices them about three times the price of a standard mainline for something about the same quality as a mainline. I don't require Real Riders, but, at nearly four bucks a pop (and more than that if you include sales tax), I generally only collect Hot Wheels cars with both a metal body and a metal chassis. I do like that Canadian Walmart stores have also been getting the 1/43 scale Fast and Furious cars from Greenlight; a bit pricey for Walmart 1/43, but I know they're full diecast metal and I'd immediately buy the Mustang fastback if I saw it. I don't see how buying crates of cars from a dealer helps the scalpers. If anything, it keeps them out of the hands of the scalpers. 3:00 Oh, I didn't know Walmart U.S. prices mainline-quality Fast and Furious cars like regular mainlines. That must be why premium-priced Fast and Furious cars tend to stay on the pegs a lot longer up here in Canada.
