Bryan Thrift's fast paced style is always fun to watch!

It is fun to watch. KVD has won a bunch with this style and Thrift has been lights out recently as well. It makes sense the more water you can cover the chances of getting bit increases. No doubt they also miss some fish as well leaving some areas too early. It is definitely proven to be successful and fun to watch.

+Greg V I feel like before they go out they do the math in their head on where the fish will be and then decide whether they'll be catching more fish by staying slow and picking an area apart or by covering water and putting the bait in front of more fish. If KVD thinks he can catch 3 by burning a crankbait in the next 100m he'll do that instead of catching 2 in 80m. At least thats how i'd put it.

+TheUnluckyFisherman agreed. I think thrift said it best when he stated "you can make a hundred bad decisions in a day, but you only have to make five good ones". You are always gonna second guess leaving an area, especially an area where you have caught fish, but not big fish. Unless you know the fish are there, then moving fast makes sense and improves your odds of culling up to a better bag of fish.

Come fish Lake Eufaula in Oklahoma! 100,000+ acres, 600+ miles of shoreline, so diverse in structure & water clarity that they actually have 4 fishing reports for it, i.e., Eufala North, Eufala South, etc. Killer largemouth bass fishing, but also excellent crappie, stripers & HUGE catfish! Roland Martin used to live there before he moved to Florida.

Anybody have tips for salmon/trout?

+JohnsMedia Watch salmon/trout videos, not bass videos.
@theunluckyfisherman48459 жыл бұрын
+JohnsMedia Post this on a trout fishing forum, talk to your local baitshop owners, even go out and talk to the local fishermen and see if they help out. Bass video isnt a good place to start. Good luck out there.

@danieljohns74998 жыл бұрын
JohnsMedia biggest tip is smaller baits trout and salmon have smaller mouths so use something like a small bucktail hug or a 3-4 inch worm that is a bright natural color
