I have the 2014 Escape Titanium. I hated these new Escapes when they first came out, but they've grown on me and I LOVE them now. Mine has the 19" wheels, 2.0L EcoBoost engine, navigation, and dual panel moonroof. It's beautiful!!

I just bought a gently used 2017 Ford Escape SE. It was a lease. 26,400 miles. $17,000. Put down $3,000. Apple CarPlay, heated seats, remote start through FordPass phone app. 2.0 EcoBoost engine. Blacked out paint and wheels. Full bumper to bumper and power train 5 year/85,000 mile warranty. Couldn’t be happier.

3:06 yea the lift gate..so your washing your car you have the back open to dry the bumper ect..you start to dry off or wipe say the tale pipes to keep the chrome shiny your looking down ..than the damn thing closes on your back when you stand back up its closing on you...you learn once

jhogrian I havent been in the 2016 CX-5 yet - but I love the 2015 model! you can't go wrong with these two - so I'd test them both, crunch the numbers and go with the best deal.

I still don't trust those Ford turbo engines, shortcut used to get similar numbers as the normally aspirated motors that others offer. Ex. CR-V has similar numbers w/o the complexity and risk of turbos.

Jonathonn77 I meant that if you were picking between the 301a and the sunroof - I would opt for the sunroof @ $1400 - as opposed the tech package @ $17,495. Hell - I'd load the thing up - if I had the $$

303manu3l303 Love them both! the Tiguan is less stylized and tech rich, but it's so sweet to drive and solid. The Focus is an all-around star - with great tech and engine options. If leasing - either work - for a longer buy - VWs can be more expensive to repair.

Jonathonn77 I'm looking at the 301a package on the 2016 Escape and I'd rather go with the panoramic sunroof for $300 less. The escape is a sweet ride!

The problem with your video is that your doing the Top trim when most Americans are buying the SE or SEL Why don't you do a review on the vehicles most Americans are buying not a Titanium top trim that is mid 30's vehicle OTD.

I've looked at all comparable SUV's and it's going to be a Ford Escape for me. I hear nothing but good about them and they say the 2.0 engine is excellent. I will probably wait until the 2016's arrive then I will buy a late model low mileage Escape Titanium.

The auto-liftgate seems like such a lazy option to me. Maybe show it off to friends once for a few ooohs and ahhhs, but Id probably never use it again. Just open and close the hatch with your hand you lazy bums! Its not that heavy or difficult.
