I'm a Mopar guy myself. Have a 2015 Hemi Ram. But this truck (or any with the Ecoboost) will kick the crap out of my Hemi, and some of the features are slick as fu*k. Like the tailgate opening from the key fob. And just the outside design of the F-150 is damn slick.....Makes me think, trade in....

The only thing that I wish SHOULD BE STANDARD here on the Platinum - as well as on the King Ranch (the two highest trim) - trim is the bedliner - drop-in or spray-on.

Today I test drove a 2015 Platinum and I gunned the accelerator pedal, a minute later the truck didn't want to accelerate in the highway 20MPH had to go on the breakdown Lane with the gas pedal all the way to the floor. After 4 minutes of driving the truck resumed it's speed. Is this normal is it something I should worry about before buying the truck?

Use aquapel and you will rarely ever need to use wiper fluid, or wipers for that matter.

And the steering is weird on the 4x4, its stiffer then the 2 wheel drive. It steering wheel forces you to go straight when you let your hands off the wheel. The seat padding is also worse in the 2015, leather is cheaper. The truck bed is also 1" not as deep. And the 360* camera doesn't work good enough to see properly when parking. And ford has up'd there prices $5,000 since last year.

SeanP7195 My last two cars were a Monte Carlo and a Honda Civic. The Civic was so overrated. Lots of issues with it. Didn't have anything wrong with the Monte Carlo till 160k miles. Got to 220k in it before I gave it away (probably for scrap).

I have a 2015 Eco boost F150 Platinum. Only has 48k miles. Just spent a ton of money on the piece of crap. Leaving it in my driveway to slowly rot away. :

BEWARE! I drove the 2015 F150 Lariat and Platinum and Ford has really screwed up the interior ergonomics. I'm 6'2" and my left leg is forced to rest on the door handle while I drive. It hurts your knee. I'm not able to put my leg any lower cause they raised the floor below the E brake. The seat lumbar sticks into your back even when you aren't using it...people online have complained about this too.

I honestly think the platinum and all 2015's suck compared to the 2014's. I own a 2014 fx4 and it's better in every way then the 2015's except for technology upgrades. All the 2015's seats r curved weird so the lumbar pushes into your back, door handle hits your knee, 1" taken out of the truck bed deepness, rear doors on the crew cab are longer now making the truck bed look out of proportion, not as easy to turn, the front end feels huge making it harder to park, the stereo is horrible sounding, glove box wobbles...insides are poor quality.

Don't buy this. The leather seats are also uncomfortable in all of the 2015 F150's. I own a 2014 fx4 and the leather seats have always been great. The 2015 seats are very thin everywhere compared to last years model. The lumbar support always pushes into your back when it's deflated, especially the Platinum. My back hurt after 20min of driving. The steering wheel is bad cause it pops out in 3 spots so you can't rest your thumbs at 10 & 2 like last years model. I'm 6'2" and my left knee is forced to rest on the door handle inside...causes my knee to hurt. They made the seats shorter too so it's more comfortable for short people. They removed 1" of deepness from the truck bed. I hope ford fixes all of these issues in the next year cause there's already lots of forums online of people complaining. They ruined the seats, inside door handle design, and steering wheel, and by raising the floor board 2" under the ebrake they made it impossible to stretch your leg out, which also forces my leg to sit high causing my knee to rest on the handle. I'm really disappointed at Ford cause I was going to buy the platinum before driving one.

My comment may be 5 years late . But to tell you the truth , as a 2015 Ford platinum owner myself , being 6’1 250 pounds , it’s comfy as heck, love everything about it . My legs don’t hit anywhere . And I wear boots so it makes me around your height , I think all these problems you are having is with you truck sir , cause mine is fine and it still makes lots of other new trucks look basic . Love it .
