For people watching this with other vehicle models certain cars and trucks have to go through a throttle relearn if you touch the butterfly at all while the car isn’t running so read up on your car before you do this it can be expensive to have a mechanic do the relearn mine charged me about $150.

I have a 06 hyundai sonata an wanna clean throttle body but I was hearing it has a electric throttle body an u can't move the butterfly by hand just trying to see wat the best way to clean it an there is no video for that year thanks for any help u may be able to give me

Y'all doing this the hard way. Go through the brake booster vacuum line which connects directly to intake. You don't have to disconnect the MAF sensor since it bypasses it

Great video on cleaning the throttle body on a Hyundai/Kia. I have a 2013 Kia Optima and this looks like the exact same engine pretty much. No surprise there since Hyundai is now Kia’s big sister company.

The black piece connected to the throttle body is the throttle position sensor right?

Does 2015 Sonata also have MAF Sensor? I might have been worry a little bit after I installed K and N Air Filter and the throttle response is really bad after it. I had heard that K and N air filter screwed up the MAF Sensor.

Do I need to take the map sensor off I’m I’m spraying valve cleaner in to the throttle body or even further up the intake system?
