Just so you know, I HIGHLY disagree with your review. I live deep in the country and I have a 2015 Veloster turbo. My car handles the back roads wonderfully. This is a terrible review. This car is catered towards young people's first car.. And I would also like to let you know that my car beat my best friend's Mustang GT....MY car beat a MUSTANG. So you may wanna go look at this car again.

I totally agree with you Colby 🤔I have a 2015 Black Turbo and love it so much you'd have to pry it out of my cold dead hands. This dudes review sucked IMO . These little cars are unique and ARE A SPORTS CAR. Think about it when the Type R was released and I was in England it had 200 BHP and was hailed as the bee's knees. If you stomp on this car it will hit 120 ( no it wasn't me officer) and beyond no problem. I think this shape is the best compared to the more sanitised new version even though 74 more BHP would be nice im keeping mine . Way fast enough. To anyone interested in this car get the turbo because the Nav is a lot slower ( my brother had one) .I think this review was done by a kid( compared to my age) that probably has never even driven one. I'll leave you with this thought if I had this reviewer in the passenger seat he'd soon change his mind about the performance of this little car!🤔He might have to change his Haynes underwear afterwards!😂😎👍🏼

@@Funrunner008 There are mustangs and there are mustangs. I think in 2015 there was the standard 164 mph model and a eco boost that could hit 149! If my memory serves me right? Both GT 5.0 !!!!! These were like 435 BHP like over twice the 201 BHP of a VT .Obviously newer mustangs especially a GT are faster but older models were actually slow for a bigger 5 liter engine heavier car. I think the point Colby is trying to make is the Veloster Turbo is only a 1.6 yet people have had them beyond the Speedo which reads 140 . I've personally had mine hit 120 and I wasn't even trying! Iv'e heard of it going beyond the marked 140 ! Maybe 145/150? Where the Veloster scores is power to weight! So if he came up against a mustang GT it could have been an older model and don't forget to take into account driver skills ? You can put a driver in a Lambo doesn't mean they can drive it!🤔😂😎

It will be way better than my dodge caliber 07. And with the whole leg room, adjust the seat correctly so others can sit back there. I dont drive while leaning back, i adjust my seat for my back to be straight.

The 1.6L engine int the base model has excellent acceleration if you get the 5-speed stick manual. In fact, it takes off like a rocket. But, the same base model with an automatic transmission is not nearly as quick, but still not bad. I drove both of them.

Back seats suck, I fit better in the back of a focus hands down, and the roof will cut your head office you don't duck when getting into the back

Speaking from experience, this car is better on the road than you make it out to be. I will agree that performance-wise is doesn't quite compete with the Focus ST or the GTI, but the numbers are pretty close in comparison, and to the everyday driver the difference is virtually unnoticeable. This is a fun car to drive. Did you even drive it?? In my opinion, this car wins over the ST and GTI because of its styling as well as its bang-for-the-buck advantage. A VT is about $5-$10K less than what you compare it to. A true car enthusiast might agree with you more than I, but if an enthusiast is looking for a car in this price range, they're going to probably buy a BRZ/FRS over the aforementioned cars in my post.

I kinda love hate the review you did. You had lot of very negative comments about the vehicle. I’m actually looking into getting a Veloster , and if it wasn’t for other reviews , yours would of left a bad taste in my mouth about this car. Lol the 3rd door doesn't make it in a class of its own.. Just makes it less practical then something like a focus st wuch has way better back seats and actually handles like a European hot hatch... Not a eco box with a turbo

To me Clous it does make it unique! How many cars do you know of that have 3 doors? 🤔 How is it LESS PRACTICAL?🤔 You can get someone in and out of the back WITHOUT getting out of the driver/passenger doors to let someone crawl into the back! Anyway The Ford's and Golfs looks suck they are just bland and cost way more for what you get for the money.
