Fantastic drawings, but I especially liked hearing your own thoughts on them. I love your advice on avoiding emphasis on areas you dislike, thus diverting attention from them. Thanks so much and I hope to see more videos soon!

Lovely and inspiring work as always although I feel that Scott doesn't say 'mirroring' enough (if at all) here in that particular way of his and that I've enjoyed hearing ever since the basic perspective form drawing dvd. Thanks for all your output and whilst I don't think I'll ever be a concept artist, it certainly has vastly improved my ability to draw which is a pleasure in itself.

I really really like the loose artsy kind of illustrations, it's just something about them !!! Like some kind of steampunk-ish distopian future kind of thing i reeaaally dig that!! Oh something like Bladerunner ?! Aaah just when i think about it it makes me take that pencil and start sketching !!!

Hey Scott. It's always great to see your work. Glad to see you still have the touch. Maybe you can help us start a new trend. RENDER NOVEMBER :D I recently bought a copy of your how to render book and it's amazing. Thanks for the excellent art instruction you share with us all.

INKTOBER 24 is frikkin incredible!!! Looks like CanAm series, Constructor Class, IMSA, GTP except maybe on Gliese 184. Going to your Instagram account and see if it's still available. Anyway, as I'm watching your video I would put it on pause and try to copy them. I've ben drawing for decades but I tend to try to turn every 59 Invicta, Ducati, 60TON TEREX into a mona Lisa. Gotta go faster, lighter. Fantastic! Thanks for sharing your work.

What are you saying when you refer to the pad for dabbing the pen nib? Weaver? Also what do you recommend for ballpoint? Thank you so much!
@krismat62418 жыл бұрын
Mr Robertson, How can I use copics on top of a ballpoint outline without the drawing bleeding. The ballpoint pen is amazing but my lines tend to bleed if I apply grays on top of them. Is there a special paper, or a technique to do it? Thank you for all your amazing videos!
@scottrobertsondesign8 жыл бұрын
+Kris Mat No, markers over any ballpoint pen will make it smear. Sorry.

Love these drawings! I have just a little note that could perhaps just a slight amount more realism into your drawings. On the bike shown at the 25:31 mark, the front axle is of axis with the fork, which in and of itself would not be a massive problem. But the axle is also not at the lowest point of the fork which would make the handling of that vehicle strange, And if I may be so rude as to be really picky, The way thats drawn would likely snap the front wheel out from between the forks at the first futurisic speedbump ;) In any case those are just some points from a mechanical point of view, and if any actual engineers have any corrections for me then I would be glad to hear them. Having said all that, your drawins are amazing and as such I wish I was half as good as you are!

Hey Scott, Great work. I'd like to see you draw a motorcycle with HUB MOTORS only. The ones that look like pancakes. LOL. Maybe the batteries could be in the middle... The middle would definitely have plenty of space - maybe for weapons, storage, left open? SUB/LIKE/SHARE/COMMENT/JOIN/THX.
