I have filmed an all new 2015 Jaguar XE S finished Italian Racing Red. Video includes first the Jag 3.0 litre supercharged V6 starting up, then doing tons of revs, accelerations and fly bys on a closed course.

To be fair jaguar has been the best at making v6's for years. My 2001 jaguar x type 3.0 sounds really nice as well

I bought a brand new British Racing Green XE-S with 20" alloys in May 2016 and it looked achingly pretty. However, the InControl Touch Pro infotainment was hopelessly unreliable; constant crashing and wouldn't pair with iPod or upload phone contacts etc - legally rejected, got all my money back plus 8% interest (UK rejection law). Having gone through a 2016 Mercedes C43 Coupe (awful front tyre crabbing and squelchy juddery wipers) and a 2017 Audi S5 Coupe (impossibly uncomfortable driving position and seat), I now have a March 2018 BMW 440i M Sport Coupe which drives better than all of them (massively better throttle response than the Mercedes and Audi) but, importantly, is better built than all of them (even the 2017 Audi had squeaks and creaks!); even its infotainment system actually works perfectly!

So this particular model has a v6? I thought the new xe s only comes with the 4 cylinder? If they have the v6 version I might consider it because it looks pretty good. A good looking car like this one should have a good powerful engine too with a good amount of horsepower!! It's only right

Uh they either come with a petrol I4 or a diesel I4 standard but I think they have definitely engine swapped this or by special demand made a v6 version for different markets

Yes but different exhaust system. It’s quit under low speeds but on higher e speeds it’s getting loud as a F Type V6

Even when ford owned jaguar, most of the car was designed by jaguar designers for example the x type was jaguar designed but with a ford chassis and crash protection system.

Love the car but i don't like the exhausts. I think it would have looked better with twin exhausts only one side or four exhausts. Or even same exhausts but further apart. But maybe ill like it more if i see it in person

Daniel Northcott Before the car was released there were lots of rumors of an R model that is delimited so you can reach 300km etc etc. But not sure how much truth there is to the delimited rumor. However it just makes sense to launch an R model to be an alternative choice when considering competitors like RS4, C63 and M3

Jacktay2106 Well I would say the design of the Jag is alot bolder than a 3 series, but in a way I agree as the sound this car makes doesn't quite match the car but then again the noise is more a super car noise than a saloon noise.
