Did you have to buy a separate adapter to get the steering wheel controls to work? I installed my new radio (this video helped so much!) but I can’t find the wires to connect my steering wheel buttons to the wires on the new radio

I'm about to do this. The Sorento's AC/Climate display is on the head unit when you press the button. Do people just live without the display or can it connect in some way?

@@bellsyau I have the platinum also. The stereo came with a canbus so it should be sweet also fascia to suit the model. Where the stereo controls are is replaced with just a slot

Oh the far right side of the radio you have 2 black wires, one with a blue connector and one with a yellow connector. What are those for?

So back in 2018 I thought it would be a VERY good Idea to put a pack of wax warmer on my dash board to make the car smell good. In comes the FLORIDA warm/ hot months and on the hottest day of the summer I get into the car and that wax tab melted all over. Now my buttons stick. And if ONE button is active NONE OF THE others react to presses. I wonder if I can remove the dash then get to the buttons. But that is not for a work day....

Nothing against you, I have a 2014 and for some reason this 2015 radio panel looks like it could be from 2010. I wonder what Kia was thinking when they did that.
