► 2015 Lincoln Navigator unveiled

Lincoln Navigator arrives for the 2015 model year with a freshly designed exterior, significantly updated interior and all of the spaciousness that made it a segment leader when it was introduced in the summer 1997.
The front end is more rounded, its split-wing grille in line with new Lincoln design. The front end features bi-functional high-intensity discharge adaptive headlamps with light-emitting diode signature accents. The vehicle also features a more refined rear end, with a power up/down tailgate and jewel-like LED tail lamps that extend the width of the vehicle.
Navigator comes with 20-inch aluminum wheels. Reserve Package models offer 22-inch, polished aluminum wheels, as well as optional power moonroof and chrome-accented running boards.
Reserve Package upgrades include premium leather extending to the third row.

Why are you guys giving this truck so much hate? It's beautiful! I love the new Navigator! I thinks its looks much better than the previous model. And the interior has been improved, too. Check the Lincoln site. Personally, my most favorite SUVs are these 4: 1. Lincoln Navigator L. 2. Cadillac Escalade ESV. 3. Range Rover EWB Autobiography Edition. 4. GMC Yukon XL Denali. I love all 4 trucks and all 4 newer models I think are stunningly gorgeous. I want all 4!

It's still ugly! this video just makes me wanna choke the Ford design team! That new Navigator doesn't even being to resemble anything the Lincoln division has ever built. I don't like the way Ford has gone recently with the new designs of any of their cars or trucks. They have gotten so caught up in beating Toyota sales, that they have totally forgotten what's appealing to the eyes of Ford fans.

It's just my opinion sir, I'm not demanding that anybody agree with me if they don't feel the same, all I'm saying is, I've noticed over the last few years, even after they came out with the fusion, before they redesigned it, all those cars grew on me. I didn't like them at first, but I got used to them, and ended up favoring them over something else from the competition. I'm for a Ford family, we've had more fords and any other make of car, and I'm telling you, Ford's design methods are going way down hill. In my opinion. I used to like Ford. I don't like Ford anymore Nuff said.

Back in the day when I was growing up as a kid in the late 80`s and early 90`s I can remember the Lincoln and Cadillac being on the same level when my Grandparents would buy their Caddies and be Proud to own one they had neighbors on the street that would be Proud of their new Lincolns. Now that has changed. Eventhough Lincoln has gone in there own direction I will say they are not coping off of anyone else.Long gone of the days of1987, 1994 or 1997 Lincoln Continental or 1996 Towncar or the sharp 1998 Mark VIII(those years I mentioned were my favorite body style)

Not coping[sic]? Dodge Durango taillights and a 2011-2014 200 or 300 sculptured bladed grille. 2009 Escape right half dash treatment. The hood seems to be right off the Expedition. Even the DLRs are similar to so many other vehicles' design. At least they got rid of the teenager with braces front end, it was an original look, although it was an look nobody would copy.

Lincoln finally gave the Navigator the updates it needed ever since it hit showrooms. But the interesting question is... Why would they waste time refreshing it, rather than giving it a total redesign?

A total redesign is coming in a few years, but adding these new styling touches to the front grill and fog lights, the lower side chrome moldings and the new rear deck styling treatment is welcomed by Lincoln dealers, for they now have a Navigator that looks different from the previous models even though the platform, interior and body designs will be the essentially the same as the 2014 Navigator. The same grill has been used on the Navigator for years as well as the rear tail lamps so this will be a good thing until the new redesigned model arrives.

The Ecoboost V6 packs plenty of power, and it's easier to mod a turbo engine for more HP and torque. I think Ford should offer an optional Ecoboost V8 (twin-turbo V8) in the Navigator. I'd take a Navigator over the Escalade. It's not like the new 2015 Escalade really looks nicer, and the Navigator is cheaper than the Escalade.

I'll never get why the tailpipe is always an afterthought on large American SUV's. Look at the offerings from Range Rover, BMW, Mercedes, Audi, VW, Lexus, and Acura. They encompass the exhaust into the design, and actually make it a focal point that looks like a piece of art. The domestic SUV's look like they commissioned Bob's Muffler Shop to slap on a tailpipe after the truck rolled off the assembly line.

video is from january 2014 and that car is supposed to get to the market 2015. in 2015 that will be a year old design which then will sold as new. in my opinion it is not justified to sell a year old design as something new but however, people see what they are buying. the navigators front looks so much better than the escalades. the escalades front is out of proportion with that huge grill like a clown-car and the headlights get up on to the fenders where they have no function except to glare the drivers eyes. the navigator looks well proportioned and the lines appear noble, specially with the shiny chrome on the black color : ) what i would like in any car is an instrument board that is bent towards the driver (like in the toyota supra or nissan 300zx tt), to bad non of these trucks, suvs etc. have that.

I am glad it keeps the classic SUV look. I want an SUV that looks nothing like Audi or those other European imitations. I want to drive the antithesis of the modern slick look. Just look at the 1970s Lincoln models and you know what I mean. I mean you could cut yourself on all those sharp corners of those great old models.

T1 platform >>> Escalade. That's why they didn't do a major update yet, this truck can out tow all of the competition. Most people buy Escalades/Suburbans for bling and status, but Expedition buyer want the substance - towing ability.

Hands down, the 2015 Cadillac Escalade blows the Lincoln Navigator away. There is nothing that has changed with the Navigator in like 10 years. The grill looks like a bunch of thick chicken wire that has been stretched out. The rear is still square and boxy and the rear tail lights (Cadillac's look futuristic) look square and dated. They better revise this in 2016 or there will be a lot of 6,000 pound paper weights sitting at the Lincoln Dealerships.

Same door handles from 2003, they only changed the front lights and rear tail lights. The interior has recycled parts from the f150 (shifter, steering wheel) everything about this is recycled. I feel bad to who ever buys.

Ive been a lincoln fan for years ive owned nothing but lincolns I own a 2007 navigator rite now I love my gator it snaps necks especially when its clean blck/blck ultimate that being said the only thing that I dont like is the fact that there isnt a v8 at the moment.... now I believe the coyote will b a option and I c were lincoln is going I love the fact that my gator isnt that expensive to maintain vs its counter parts and thats y they dont change to much even tho they have thrown a eco boost under the hood 😧😨😤😈😥 give me the biggest v8 u have fuck global warming it doesnt exist 😆 now I wasnt a big fan of the body style I own now but it grew on me now I love my baby

No ford did not ruin the Navigator...it is very comfortable..great towing capacity...has been more advanced during its early years...Once you have this car you will fall in live with it...it is much cheaper to maintain than land rover or Bmw, Mercedes or Audi ....Trust me Lincoln Navigator is beautiful. ...and far much better than Escalade

That particular V-6 is much more powerful than the V-8 it replaced. V-8's are still available in Ford full size trucks though.

selerim Get your facts straight, Chevy and Dodge are in the stone ages compared to Ford in engine technology - Ford definitely did not abandon the V8.. they have 4 completely separate architecture V8 engines still available in their vehicle lineup, including the highest power production gas V8 engine and highest power production commercially available V8 diesel engine. They also have a twin turbo V8 available in the Cobra Jet. It wouldn't make sense to put their incredibly power V8 gas engine in an SUV when their customers want better fuel economy. The 3.5L Ecoboost V6 engine out tows all SUV V8 engines and gets better fuel economy.

selerim Main reason - EPA regulations and fuel economy. The high powered or special edition models will still have a V8 available. Ford also has a new V8 architecture coming for the next SVT Mustang.
