Another logical win by an experienced tech. Very well done.

Hi Boss, I'm thinking of buying the seek pro flir camera but you've said don't waste your money. Can you elaborate on the finer detail and how it will not be good enough to spot a heated ic or cap? Even do a demo video on comparison. Cheers. Peace.

Really a detective work and you're good at it. Just a question, I have a 820-3115 MBP board that is very clean no sign of water damage found when inspecting under microscope but the board is totally dead, no voltage anywhere even on the motherboard dc in socket pins when connected with a know working charger. Could a dc in socket go bad ? Thanks again for your great videos :-)

Allot of things can cause a board not to power on. It's unlikely a DC board issue but it doesn't hurt to try another one.

That was a hard board to fix man, I'm wondering at what point do you label the board as not possible to fix.

I always try to figure out problems ASAP without spending too much time hence the visual inspection. In some cases when i can't figure out a certain behavior, even after testing and research, i call it quits so i don't waste more time. Other times it's immediately obvious when to stop ex: CPU not generating a certain voltage or CPU short. Just as i did here kzbin.info/www/bejne/eIaceKyBjNqDlbc and here kzbin.info/www/bejne/n6iqZmyarbhrgZo

I have a good question bro, i´m a professional also , and informatic IT also... recently i got some issue in my laptop battery and for some reason don´t work properly with i replace some battery cells from bank, but now i guess need to be reseted or something ?
@Swenser4 жыл бұрын
Yes, but nowadays the chip is near impossible to reset. Forget it. Buy a new battery. If you do ever change 18650 battery on a working battery use the continuous power to board method. Otherwise chip will be locked when you reconnect
