it's a great car and I've enjoyed driving it. The back seat isn't for 6-1 plus but I didn't buy it to transport 4 people. I'm getting 31 MPG in mixed drive which is awesome. It has a lot of power and the handling is superb. The interior is nice and well done. Nicer than the out going C-class and Audi. A solid driving car. I would recommend it and I would buy again.

FYI, only the blue efficiency models in Europe get the .23 cD. The ones sold in the US have .28 drag which is about average with the segment

we just got ours (cla 250 4matic)...so far, we are loving it!!! minor complaints: -glove compartment is too small. the navi module slot is getting in the way. even the car manuals won't fit. -no sunglasses holder (really? but ashtray is standard?)

I don't care about the exterior. I am inside the car. The most important thing about a car to me is the performance and then interior. Most reviewers don't believe CLA can deliver on the performance.

In Singapore, this car is everywhere. And it costs SGD 160k for the base CLA180. For the CLA250 with AMG line (like the one in the video), it costs a whopping SGD 190k. Paying for the looks and brand image over practicality, but it's well worth. A friend of mine was choosing this or and Audi A3 sedan, but I recommended this to him instead.

Test drove one yesterday ! There's no room for the driver.....if you're over 6 feet tall. The front console will also crowd your right leg,and it will cramp up in no time. Great little car,for little people.

From what I've gathered, the CLA is a millennial-targeted vehicle. It's sleek, well-researched and completely on-track to who their target audience is and has succeeded in captivating younger buyers into getting a Mercedes. I honestly can't say I'm as impressed with the conservative designs of an A3 or commonplace appearance of the 3-series.

Andrew Yang In terms of its competitors, the CLA has a distinctive look. I mean, you can hardly say a BMW 3-series or Audi A3 would turn as many heads. Also, image-conscious Millennials will want the badge, even if they get less.

The issues I have with the CLA is the lack of rear visibility and lack of a spare tire. Also KBB should know that the CLA AMG is not a full-time AWD system. Meaning, when you are driving down the road 100% of the power comes from the front wheels. The only time the AWD system comes into play is when you are in bad weather or when you are going around the cirner fast.

good review. Micah sounds like a disney character, a mid-western one, very animated and lively. I mean that in a pleasant way. I was watching reviews after reviews of this car and BMW x1 both my choices when I get a new car hopefully soon, I dont know much about cars but it seems they both suck from what I hear on the reviews but I like both of them, now I have to figure out which sucks less. any suggestions?

The problem with the s class, sl, cl, etc. is the high maintenance costs. They can run forever, but the brakes, suspension, electrical stuff, sensors cost a lot to replace. They are fantastic values if you are a mechanic or have a friend who knows how to do most of the stuff but if you have to rely on a shop for the work it is not worth it in the end. Many of my friends used to own '90s and early '00s chassis and they got fed up with all the repairs. Some bought new Japanese cars and others bought 3 yr old e classes and MLs. I would love a late '90s sl500 or 600 cabrio but the money can be better used elsewhere.

As a 20 year old I would choose the cla over the c class any day. Sure the c class has more luxury and features inside but the car itself just doesn't look as sporty/stylish. I would recommend the c class to a senior citizen.

I wouldn't equate value with the CLA.. I wasn't impressed with the interior and it still carries the design from last generation Benz unlike the C class. Most of the buyers of this car are buying the logo and design, all the other stuff is non important.

good point, it is not a full size.. but the new "$30" Benz (Clk 250) has less space and features in it than the comparable 30k Accord. On my budget, the honda wins. That is the Benz i was using as the basis of this comment. That car with a paltry turbo 4 makes the same power as the v6 Accord and costs more but comes with less standard features. Would I own a Benz, yes they are fine automobiles. But again...not in the budget. Now get off the internet and go make that money to support the 3 Mercedes you own LOL!
