are the rears of the cars just 2 of the normal rears working in tandem? or do they turn like a dozer so the different tracks run at different speeds to make turning easier?

the rear wheels are the drivers.. The wheels on the front axle ( in the rear ) are idlers which allow the rear axle to work normally. re

After seeing these I can understand the inspiration for the "Hannibal 8" vehicle in the movie "The Great Race". I was almost expecting to see one of the folks unloading their Model T to be dressed like Professor Fate. :)

@tonyzalmanov22917 жыл бұрын
do these use independent breaking on the rear or strictly the skis for steering?
@Trukluver7 жыл бұрын
There are no individual wheel brakes on the rear wheels. Steering is provided strictly by the skis. If the snow is mushy the steering leaves a bit to be desired.
@eltoro66887 жыл бұрын
Trukluvr, Do the dual rear axles on these owe themselves to the AA truck or are these a separate machine?
@Trukluver7 жыл бұрын
I think a lot depended on what the snowmobile kit was installed on. Some of them were installed on Model As and I think some were installed on AAs.
