They were missing something like 5 starters against Ohio State and hung tough for 3 quarters. At least they just got a little measure of redemption a couple of weeks ago.

@@TheRealDonLayton It's amazing we were missing Kavon , Flowe, and 1 other dude on Defense for that game and still were able to take them out on their own turf no doubt. An amazing start to what could have been a playoff season had Verdell not gone down against Stanford. Something basically let the air out of our tires, and that was all she wrote for the season.

Florida State had this coming , they squeaked out so many close games during the year, and some of those they should've lost. The problem was, they faced teams who couldn't make them pay for the mistakes they made. They played a potent offense like Oregon and The Ducks made Florida State pay for every one of their mistakes made. To be honest, Oregon probably could've put up 70 if they wanted to, but they took the foot off the gas in the fourth quarter. Unfortunately for the Ducks, all of their offense disappeared against Ohio State in the title game, but they also ran into Ezekiel Elliott, who was just beast for the Buckeyes in the college football playoff that year.

Compare this game to the Ducks 2020 season... this 2014 Oregon team had a great D line, and a mobile QB who could make plays, and two very good RBs -- all of which was lacking on the 2020 team

Um. Oregon had this in 2020 minus the QB. Oregon had a great DLine, 2 great RB’s, and they had a mobile QB but his problem was reads. But can you really compare those 2 years with one of them being COVID ridden

Very bad sportsmanship by Florida State after the game. Yeah, sure it stings, but you have to have some sort of respect. Especially from a team that knew how and where to attack you and was able to make very little mistakes and capitalize on the ones your opponents did
