Did you put a clothespin in the back to make it work with the lid open?

I unscrewed the hing from the lid and held it down with a magnet.

I'm thinking about getting a Speed Queen but after hearing you push about 10 buttons before the water even started flowing, I'm going to go with the traditional dial control instead....much quicker and uncomplicated.

He was mainly setting options... you can typically turn it on and press start.

the 2019 tc5000wn has a 3 knobs and a start button and deep fill button and nothing more
