Most definitely invest in a surge protector like surge guard. Do not trust plugging into any campground without protecting your electronics. You would be surprised how many campers fried their electronics from bad electrical connections, no matter where you are. They are expensive but well worth the protection and peace of mind. Have fun guys.

I watched all the videos about the Vegas camper in 1 week. This craftsmanship is so beautiful to look at. As of this week I am a fan of your wonderful work. Now I'm going to follow the series about the Silverado 2021. Many greetings from the Netherlands

This is a first (as far as I'm aware), not just for this channel, but any other channel on KZbin.. We see the build all the way from the start right through to actually using the RV on a camping holiday. Really well done guys and a "we told you so" to all the doubters out there. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍😀🏕🌅🌇🕶

Nice! My wife and I had the setup down cold. We had different chores "hers and mine" It was very satisficing setting up! Loved RVing but now we have an Itasca we use to drive and stay at hotels, we could Camp in but chose not to. Love being in it. The RV is 23ft long and fits in most parking situations so that a plus ...no tow behind car!

A couple of other tips: 1- When hooking up the power be sure the breaker is OFF when you plug it in, then switch it ON. And you should check it first with a circuit analyzer or a surge protector. 2- Water hose should be coiled up and the ends connected together when stored so as to keep junk out of the hose. 3- Run a little fresh water out of the faucet prior to connection to the hose ( it is even a good idea to spray some sanitizer on the faucet connections first ).

That one section of ceiling looks awesome with the diamond texture upholstery - breaks up the monotony of the white ceiling - good call that I would have never considered! Now make us all happy and rebuild the OTHER camper too - and give us an idea of the things you salvaged from the 5th Wheel for this one.
@ModelTTime3 жыл бұрын
The safest way to use the water hookup is DON'T! Fill your fresh water tank and use the water pump. Then you won't need to worry about a pressure regulator. Great job with the rebuild. It looks like all that hard work paid off.
@WACKO11232 жыл бұрын
Get a polarity tester, either a plug in style or install a permanent one. Campgrounds are notorious for reversed neutral. Then you would potentially have 120V on the grounded metal in the camper.

You not only need a water filter for large particulates plugging faucets, but absolutely need a water pressure regulator because the water supply is too powerful for the plumbing in most RV's... so if you enjoy bursting your pipes try it
