I did this job as a preventative maintenance (water pump amd the pulleys) when I was replacing my AC compressor. Seeing you (and other youtubers) struggle with the bolt, I would like to make a suggestion. If you remove the bolts that hold down the 2 AC lines (low pressure and high pressure), the lines now can be moved and that gives you room to remove that bolt much easier.

@bendooley5639 do you know the AC lines? The aluminum pipes that prevent you from removing the bolt? Trace those pipes to the front of the car. They are hold down by a bracket and bolt. Remove that bracket, which allows some bending of the AC pipes. This gives you room to get the long bolt out.

Just seen a video you posted 8 months ago on a 03 Honda Civic, and mine keeps overheating then going back to normal back and forth and at times will blow cold air, pushing gas doesn’t make it go warm it’s usually when it cools. But it has stayed warm when it was overheating, and also has stayed cold when it was at regular temperature.

Unbolt the engine mount. U don't have to take it out. If u do what he did then you're literally tearing the motor mount apart. It will fail prematurely.

Very helpful video and saved us tons of money! Got a water pump set from Autozone. 1st time changing a water pump. Both o-rings were wrong, definitely won’t be using autozone again. Was having a hard time finding the small o-ring. finally found one at Harbor Freight using the Metric O-ring. Can you start up the van without a pressure test?

Now I know what men feel like who find themselves watching a make up tutorial. This was oddly easy to watch. I almost felt like changing out my own water pump. Almost. Edit: my husband ended up doing this for us. It's a ROYAL pain in the ass but the pump is in and we are still married lol. The pump plus gasket was around $133. New serpentine belt $44. My mechanic said the labor was going to cost 5.5 hours minimum. It took us closer to 8 spread between Saturday and Sunday. That includes meal breaks.
