To all of you who commented just to say that Ma Long behaved poorly, try to imagine the pressure he had from the chinese national team. Added to the pressure of the match itself, it is just too much to quietly shake your opponent's hand and go. That's a huge difference between China and Europe, as national teams in Europe aren't really involved in the player's life, but in China results are needed to stay. Start to lose and you are replaced. Ma also apologied later so please be tolerant.

Not sure why the rules allow it but the players should not be permitted to rub the table top with their hands.

ewnaly once you hit to other side and touches the table, the responsibility is on the opponent; thus, the player has the right to keep their tables clean (no way to gain an advantage). Remember that even if the ball hits the edge and falls, it's still in, so not sure why it would be unfair.

All I'm saying is very simple - Players should not be allowed to touch the table especially rubbing it with the palms of their hands. If there is something on the table, the officials can remove it. No touching the table!

ewnaly They don't really use it to remove something from the table, it's usually just to remove the sweat from their hands. Something which is 100% legal.

Because he excelled, MA Long (CHN) may be strong certainly. But this man lacks an outfit as man. There are no other ones in every kind of word and the case that the sin you can't finish compensating was committed if it was an apology, for getting on it on the table tennis stand which can also be called a sacred precinct of the players playing table tennis. MA Long (CHN) should apologize to a table tennis fan in the whole world sincerely.

Cheering loudly right after a score HAVE TO BE BANNED. Some players always turn the game into a psychologic challenge which IS NOT COOL at all. Cheering above a certain decibel is not a nice manner which must be fined by taking that score back. This game is all about players' reflex and attention why we regard much more pleasant than chess. Just to win don't make such irritating noises. Fans already do it for you. We are human beings. Care about that and respect each others. Please don't ruin this well-natured game. Can't anybody see it??
