Hello Alan. I bought used model of ybr custom from 2009 half year ago. It cost me something around 1000 GBP(6000PLN as I live in Poland) and I've already been on a few long trips(over 1000km) and my little Yamaha never let me down. All I want to say is that for that money, that you could save by buying some kind of chineese version of 125cc motorcycle, your accually buying a certainity that you'll always reach your destination without unpleasant surprises ;)

The advice you gave for the windshield and the exhaust was very interesting, I will almost certainly be having a go with mine!

Thanks to videos on youtube (yours included) I bought me an YBR Custom. She's not only a beauty, but also rides excellent, easy and is tones of fun. The only little gripe I have with her is the exhaust sound. I dont want to spend a ton of money for a custom made system, so if you dont mind me asking, how did you remove the little pipe that comes out of the end of the exhaust? Do you have to take the exhaust apart, that is - take it off the bike? Do you need a saw, or a maybe an angle grinder? I don't want to brake anything, since it still has it's warranty. Please explain. THX

Hiya, thanks for the nice comment. Using an Allen key undo the three bolts at the end of the exhaust then the large black end cap comes off. You will then have access to the piddly end pipe. An angle grinder or hacksaw and the. Screw back on the end cap :)

Have you still got the yammi? If so problems if any and what's the mileage just thinking of getting one for work commute thanks

Good review, can this bike hold 55 mph/90 km/h for a long time? I now have a 2007 CBR 125 but I feel cramped on it, looking for something more comfortable. For my commute, I need to ride 13 miles on a 55 mph road, can this bike do that?
@alannunn9 жыл бұрын
+Kamikaze00Meds Hiya, yes 55mph is not a problem. I've had 70 down a slight hill. It's very happy at 50, a little pushed at 60mph. 55 is ok :)

+Alan Nunn Thank you for the answer. Im between this one and the KTM Duke 125 and im not sure. They are both completely different and i dont know if this Yamaha would fit to a 16y old guy. It looks nice anyways. What would you do? Greetings from Spain!
@alannunn8 жыл бұрын
+Arma3ReviewCamera greetings :) the yamaha is lower and much easier to ride. It is also very comfortable and I think cheaper two. I'd have another ybr custom. :)

F*ck, i needed to know how to pull off the lef side cover... :( Good review btw!
@SvenKleer5 жыл бұрын
pull in the key, turn it and then pull the left side of the cover off. Then you should be able to get the full cover off.
