Dame Merle clearly has in her mind the way she danced the role. One problem may be that she is less able to articulate the movements. And she is completely related to the music, whereas I suspect the dancers work better to counts, as Gary is trying to use. Most interesting - but I would certainly have preferred the two fantastic dancers to be left to get on with it without the constant corrections.

The dancers are lovely, the instructors are not allowing for their individual interpretation which is a pity
