surprisingly quiet and smooth and quick with the 4. needs better road noise suppression, quality control [squeaks and rattles over rough roads, which would not be as apparent if the tires had higher profile rubber to absorb some NVH from rough pockmarked road surfaces]. btw, thank you "Test Drive Freak" for this rare test of the 4 cylinder model Impala. 👌😎

I rented this Vehicle and it seemed it was too heavy for the 4 cyl to. Nice car though but i think you're better off with the V-6 3.8 liter.

The only V6 offered is the 3.6 V6. It is pretty good at carrying this car.

There was a person in a 4 cylinder impala and he wanted to race me in my 2011 impala(V6) and I was like do you not know how bad I’ll be able to beat you in this race, but I didn’t race him because I didn’t want to waste my gas lol 😱😂

Which trim or model comes with the backup camera? Some do but others don't. We had a rental 2016 Impala LT but didn't have a backup camera. Please respond.

LT or LTZ. Its an option upgrade on the LT model along with the NAV. The back up cam image is poor on the impala but does its job.

Why didn't Chevy include Driver Brake Assist to stop the care before it hits something?

Sometimes you may want to speed up when hitting something, example i hit a deer almost head on at 50 in my old impala, if the brakes were applied the deer would have came through my windshield, i put the pedal down and shipped it straight up in the air. Messed up the car but everyone was ok (minus the dead deer) auto brakes can be bad. I hate them.

I still think it's too big for a 4 cylinder. Why no V8 option with cylinder deactivation? Or a supercharger?

Yes 4 cylinder engine is sluggish even with a Malibu but it works It works but I would go with v6 engine with impala just saying because it's needs a lot of pick up for a full size car

with dodge charger was much better for me, it drives so comfortable! good Transmission, etc :) you should test drive both cars and then decide to buy which one :)

The Impala had some advantages such as good looks but I did not find the seat comfort acceptable and looking out the rear view window reminded me of peeking out of a gun slit.

mina douss dual exhaust is there but the tail pipes or downward facing since the rear bumper in this model doesn't have visual dual exhaust

@@larkt6693 except in the truck space. you can put a 65 inch tv in the impalas trunk with the back seats down, you cannot do that with an avalon even with a 55 inch. thats how ridiculous the cargo room in the impala is

Some parts are well done (Dashboard unique, comfort etc) and Some parts not very worked like exterior design which hasn't personnality and this slow auto gearbox.

A VERY IMPORTANT message!!!!! Anyone who intends to buy a car from GM will get in return with a lot of car problems. Customer service and Garages service are very problematic. Be careful and advertise.
