Hi there, do you need to press auxiliary etc every time you get into the car and want to use CarPlay? Or is that just for the first time? And if you don’t change out of this mode, would it start up the next time you connect?

As long as you don’t change out of AUX mode it will stay in aux mode the next time you come in the car

We don’t recommend the usb flush mount as it appears to go bad just after a few months. The new wireless kits also don’t need the noise filter

Not sure actually but if you need to use the screen to make the adjustments, you will have to exit the carplay screen

Does the surround view camera system override carplay screen when vehicle gets under 10 mph? Or does this need to be engaged manually by hitting view button each time?

It will work the same so if it interrupts when in oem mode, it will interrupt the same when in carplay mode

@@BeatSonicUS Thank you very much for that. Just one more question. When Land cruiser is at a stop or less than 10 MPH, the safety camera system will be engaged. My question is when vehicle goes over 10 MPH, will it return automatically to the carplay screen? In OEM mode, it will automatically take you to the screen you were previously. Just want to make sure you are not stuck in the safety camera screen when going over 10 MPH.
