Idk why people think the UBKC is rigged or they play favorite, I mean I only watch a couple shows a year but when you read the form for what judges look for in the dog and what scores points, all the winners are perfect by the standard of what the judges look for scoring. Like sometimes I think a certain dog looks better from the outside but I'm not in there seeing their teeth or gums or feeling the dogs ribs and under tuck or measuring their tails. There's a lot of different variables that go into judging, it's not just who has the nicest looking dog, it also comes into play if they're well proportioned and healthy. So even if I might pick another dog to win because of their looks and size doesn't mean their tail, teeth, gums, or angle of their hocks are correct, he'll it might even have an under/over bite you can't see until you open the dogs mouth and even when the judge does pick another dog, it's not a travesty, you can actually look at that dog and be like, yeah I can see how it could've won.

Thanks to the severe splay of their legs, they suffer tremendously throughout their short lives from degenerating joints. And by short lives, I mean that most members of this breed seem to be dying anywhere between the ages of 4-8 years old. Very rarely do they reach past 10 years of age.
