Beautiful! But Jesus Christ - spare us the wigs. Then, the garish, wholly un-Irish costumes some of the dancers. Even if you didn't care for Riverdance, their costumes were simple, lovely. Anyway, congrats. Maintaining a tradition 2nd, 3rd generations or more, 12,000 miles away is immense credit.

The costumes in Riverdance were show costumes, not competition costumes, and the wigs are a godsend for those of us whose hair can't hold a curl to save its life. What we wear now are evolutions of tradition, not complete departures from it.

Riverdance was the spirit of Irish dancing , stick that chest out , and tuck those hands in , was part and parcel of Irish ☘️ dancing in pubs when the Military was passing by looking through the pub windows , they couldn’t see them Irish ☘️ dancing 😜
