I just recently purchased the cheapest generic charger just like the one on the far left on ebay for 5.99. Ok my samsung galaxy s4 has a hard case and it wouldn't charge through this case so what I did was drill a 1" hole through the back and low and behold it charges, no matter where I place it on the pad. Needless to say I'm satisfied. Hope this idea helps. ~Jimbo~

Want a good wirelwss charger? Get a "letscom wireless charger qi-certified 15w max fast wireless charging pad ultra slim". They sell a 2pack on Amazon for $14.99. I have one by my bed and one in my kitchen. They work great, they even have over charge / battery protection, with underneath vents for cooling, and my phone has yet to get hot. The charger turns off when phone charge is 100%. I have a thick case as well since my phone is an LG G8x Dual screen case and it works perfect.

Hmmm...the reason why I mention this is Bc many times i have bumped my desk, someone else bumped my desk, or at times I look at my phone in the middle of the night then put I.t back on only to find out it’s off the sweet spot. If you have two chargers one w good grip and the other that is n so great you be biased to the one that offers more grip.

+Teona Freeman it depends what phone u have. If you have Samsung Galaxy s6, s7 note 5 and some other then you don't need receiver cause it's already embedded in those phones. If you have any iPhone then u need the receiver cause iPhones don't have wireless charging capabilities. However the new iPhone 7 coming out later this year may have it.

i don't see what's big tech here? you still have to wire connect the dock to an power outlet, then rest the phone on the dock and you call it wireless charging? no a wireless charging by definition is the charger dock shouldn't need to be wire connected to the wall. therefore it should comes with a wireless dongle that is connect onto the power outlet would somehow transmit current (electricity) onto the dock which can transfer power onto any device that rests on it.

Yes it's not really "wireless" as in how we mean with a WiFi network connection. It's more like "contactless" charging, but it still has advantages. + Convenience: being able to simply place your device down and instantly pick it up without worrying about plugging or unplugging a charge cable in the slot. + Less wear and tear from plugging and unplugging cables on the phone + Compatibility: one "contactless" charger will be able to charge any device with the receiver. You aren't stuck telling your friend with an iphone that you only have Android chargers in the house etc. This tech is also already being introduced to coffee shops, IKEA furniture, and all sorts. If all you need to do is put your device on the table next to you and it starts charging, how awesome is that :) The more we can hide away power cables, the better.

By the way the wireless charger that you have for samsung one in your review here is fake one. Original samsung charger is more darker color. But yours is more blue color. I bet the serial number on the charger that you have as "samsung" does not have same serial number on the box it came with.

If your Samsung Wireless Charger has a red light on in standby mode, it's a fake. The real one doesn't. It's blue when you are charging (my S5 and S7 Edge) and turns green when it fully charged (S7 Edge). It's also completely black (except for the clear edge). The casing, silicone ring and bottom rubber pad are all black. I live in Norway, so our market for counterfeit products is extremely small ( ~5.6 mill), therefor we don't usually see fakes.

Hello there. Your review for all these wireless charging pads are great. It gave me more options on what is out there in the market. I would get the charger all the way to the right its better than the vlight bc if you have an iPhone you need to buy an adapter for $20 plus the charger which is 15 that would be 35 and the red is 17 with adapter included so it's a better deal and it's not slippery at all he must of made it look like it was

the coil under the plastic is the same size in all qi chargers. So, it is the plastic cover that makes it comfortable or not. and sliding, grip, etc..depends on the plastic cover, which you can dissasemble and make your own "bed" for the phone..with any led dual color diode you want. Even with a glow tube if you like.

This pad came with a 4v adapter, you actually need the 5v rapid charger for this pad to properly charge the phone. if u have that blue blinking light issue like i did with my Galaxy S5 replace 4v to 5v rapid charger

I just went out and bought a Samsung Galaxy Wireless Charger pad from Walmart for $43.87 for my Galaxy S5, I get home and I tried it out, I sat my phone on top of it , but it didn't work, I took the back out, it didn't work, I took the battery out of the phone, the blue light came on when I sat the battery on top of the pad, I gave it 5 minutes, I put it back in my phone, and I tried to cut my phone on and it didn't do nothing, does that mean I bough a fake charger pad? And the back cap for my phone is rubber like
