The X1 rides on the same platform as the Mini Clubman and is only available in AWD. The steering is tight and the ride is taught but not as smooth as a 3-Series. Under the hood is a TwinPower Turbo 2.0 liter 4-cylinder that makes 228 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. Fuel economy comes in at 22 MPG in the city and 32 MPG on the highway.
