I was in management in the trucking/logistics business for over 40years. Technology has come a long way in trucking. I was responsible for having Qualcomm equipment installed in our trucks back in the 1980’s. It was a big investment, senior management thought that I was crazy requesting such a large investment. I'm in the middle of building a custom sleeper with a shower and toilet. It's a 2018 Freightliner with 24 miles on it when I cut through the roof and rear of the cab. I have several space restrictions preventing me from various components. I'd love to have this truck for a week or so sitting in the shop to check and compare accessories. I wish you had spent more video time on the shower area. Thanks for the video !

..My son and I teamed for US Express in a standard, two bunk, Freightshaker back about 10 -11 years ago. Had fun and lots of coast to coast runs. Had some down times too, not much fun. One time we were east bound out of New Mexico on snow/ice cleared roads. Hit the state in into Texas and slipped/slide into Amarillo were we shut down for the night. Texas apparently didn't have snowplow equipment. Be safe and stay legal. BTW, wished we would of had a truck like that. Might still be out there on the road.

Since you like electronic gadgets, you should check in to the Aftershokz bone conduction headphones. They don't block the ear canal at all so you can hear both your music and the environment around you. Got them for my stepmom cause she jogs and bicycles. The added bonus she said was being able to listen to her own music without bothering my dad while on a long road trip in their RV. Some sound quality is sacrificed but I'd say it's at least FM quality when I tested.

Team driving. You run a sound machine of some sort in the bunk area. That way you sleep with background noise going all the time, and noises like the radio on in the front won't wake you up. I use an app called Lightning Bug.

You should upgrade to an "instant hot" hot water system. They are great. I had one in my RV. You could gain an extra 10 gal. of water that way. Just an idea for ya.
