Highly recommended in any spec! Haven't driven the ZL1 yet, but soon I'm sure. Design is subjective, but I like it, plus interior is best in the segment.

I have the v6 2013 but if the v6 gets improved more i dont think there will be a point to get the v8 and with a turbo 4 cylinder reaching as much hp as the 90s v8 its impressive. i like the v8 sound but its not worth it or ideal for the common consumer and besides most v8 owners never even take it to the track let alone drive it everyday which i dont blame them, i think we are close to see a stock twin turbo v6 from gm and ford i would take that than any SS or GT

+ShakingTwoTrees2012 V6 Camaro>370Z any day of the week. The Z is long over due for a full refresh, where as the Camaro is properly modern. More space, refinement, better steering rack and far better interior. I am also not a fan of the clutch or six speed found in the Z. The two examples I have driven suffered from poor NVH in the drivetrain.

Brian, what's the observed highway mpg of this manual-V6 config? Is the 8speed auto going to be much more efficient? (I heard about fuel saving tech only available with the auto.) We did 21 mpg over 600 highway miles on a brand new engine. I'm still waiting to see pricing, but both are excellent transmissions. Can't go wrong there. Headroom is great, our tester had a sunroof, as you may have noticed. With the new platform, you're inches closer to the floor. Yes, the back seat is less usable for humans than before. Worked great for luggage and camera bags!

Thanks for the review!I like the look of these gen6 V6 RS models. If I didn't just purchase a 15 RS then I'd be all over one of these in hyper blue. 294lbs lighter than previous gen and 335hp, improved handling and braking this model is no joke. Few bolt ons definitely makes this a nice pony car.

Still overweight, still chunky, with what looks like the aero of a brick. +James Cave Thanks mate. We gave the new GH4 V-log format a go. It was then graded with "deluts". The Luts are awesome, but there is simply not enough colour depth in the onboard recording, specially in the 1080 we filmed this at. While I will mess about with more "vintage" looks in future films, it wont be as hardcore as this. There is simply too much banding and monoblocking with graded 8 bit log.

+абд If the SS didn't exist, the RS would be brilliant on its own. The problem is that the SS does indeed exist and it's even better. Get the SS. It'll get decent mileage if you drive it right, but it'll have the power you want when you put the hammer down.

+Oliver Rojas It is a classic design though. Porsche and BWM 3 series hardly change over the years. They sell well and people like the shape. GM said they felt they never should have left the original shape after the 1st gen. The 5th gen and now 6 continue that heritage, mostly ignoring the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th gens.

TheFirstCause You make a valid point. However, that's a completely different market of luxury, performance, and design. I predict the sales will suffer for the Camaro. Mostly because it has to compete with the Ford Mustang. You can't mention one without the other. The Mustang has a more dramatic design than it's older model, and will appeal more to the overall population. I know that most people purchase vehicles based on how a car looks, and because this 2016 model isn't anything we haven't seen before it'll have a rough start. You can get yourself a 5th gen' and most people won't be able to tell the difference. You can argue that it'll be bought because of the driving experience, but as I said before the market for pony cars is more based on looks than actual performance. For an affordable price of course. Which gave rise to the V6 and turbo 4 cylinder models. Although, only time can really tell if my predication will hold it's ground.

In your video you talk about Fuel economy on the SS. If you are looking for fuel economy,My Point was to buy the basic CAMARO with the 4 cyl turbo. As far as the pedal box I find it confining I have driven small and large cars with more spacing in the pedal box. One foot on the brake and one on the clutch feet should not touch. (old school rule).As far as the back seat they should not even bother with it. Maybe more( And I use the term loosely) trunk space. older 80s and90s Camaros had more room in the trunk and back seat. I am 5 '10"and I was able to sit in the back seat not confortably but it was possible. This car has useless space.I think I was to the point in both statements.A little criticism to GM and the conclusion and experience of a 35 year Veteran in the automotive field building racing cars for myself. People will respond to someone that has a unbiased opinion that has look at the car.One other point the SS has summer tires on it they really do not like temps below 40 degs, JUST a FYI for the ones who buy the SS and are unfimilar with having rear wheeldrive and a 8 CYL engine.

+TheMacsaan It was us dipping our toes into a different style of colour grading along with a whole new colour format for the camera. Offered a lot of flexibility, but I don't think I will be returning to it in the future. We ended up loosing a lot of the cameras performance working in LOG format. You will still see some nicer, but more subtle filter applications in future films. The GTS vs GTS was pretty heavy handed colour wise as well. The future DB9 GT film should be a better balance.

The 1LE feels like a proper track car with it's suspension, great seats, etc, but the new one is faster because it's lighter and ultimately handles better. Better seating position, better interior, and hopefully they come out with a new 1LE soon.

Ford didn't see sales any where close to what it's seeing now during the 2010 redesign or when they brought out the 5.0... so it's safe to say the new mustang is more popular than the last generation. This mustang will be the FIRST muscle/pony car to eclipse 100,000 units in a year since 2007. It's safe to say this mustang was a success. How things will turn out for the Camaro is hard to say... it's heavy advertisement from transformers and being hiatus definitely helped sales... but they never eclipsed 90k units even then but sold better than the mustang all these years. I can't wait to see who'll take the lead in sales this year.... I've been itching to know if my assumptions are right

I have been a Chevy fan for 45 plus years and a Master Technician 30 plus yearsThis is my opinion. The car may be 200-400 pounds lighter but on the SS the fuel savings is inconcqutial to mention . The only way to get fuel savings with the SS is to keep your foot out of the floorboard or get the 4 Cylinder turbo. As far as the pedals they are still to close to each other a 5 10 person with average size 10 1/2 foot can still hit both pedals.Yea I have driven the car I do not agree with every thing you say! Please be more forth coming with your statements.The car is smaller.It is base on the ATS Cadillac and if you sat in that car this will give you a good idea of size.What you are paying for is the Corvette Engine and the mag suspension if you get it.This car is not for the faint hearted, you can get into trouble real quick if you are unfimilar with HIGH HP rear wheel drive cars. Add a supercharger and you will have a monster if you can get the power to the ground.

+Vito Cialdella Sorry mate, but the pedal spacing is FAR better than the outgoing model. For me I found the accelerator and brake pedal were too far apart on the old cars. The pedal box is far easier to heel and toe.

+Nick Busato I have been in STIs with more room my Nephew owns and Drift races Professional he is third generation.I can tell that you are not mechanically incline so I will try and put things in prospective A 2015 Impala LTZ has a bigger pedal box which I own.A 96 astro van has a small pedal box but is comparable to 2015 and 2016 Camaro My 84 Grand Prix has a bigger pedal box and weighs 700 pounds lighter than the Camaro and has A 1967 327 CI IN IT.The 2016 Camaro Is A ATS Cadillac body with a corvette engine with a few more bells and whistles.It is a off the shelf car. I know this is hard to accept and so of you young pups can't handle the truth. +DoubleD 613 I made the call to test the new LOG format in my GH4 on this video. The trouble is that it was shot in 1080P on the internal 8bit encoding. Turned out to be much less robust than my earlier tests at 4k. Retiring the log format until (if ever) I move to an external recorder with 10bit encoding.

Its unfortunate that the Mustang in my opinion is the much better looking car. I love the interior in this new Camaro, and with it riding on the ATS platform I imagine the performance is fantastic. You can blame the focus groups Chevrolet interviewed on the looks. They probably surveyed older men who were fans of the 5th gen because the focus groups basically said don't change the styling. I too was hoping they would have went the same route as Ford with the styling and I wish they also would have tried to improve the visibility.

I am not Chevy basher but all you young guys have no idea what room is in the pedal box.Drive say a 1956 chevy belair or 1960 chevy apache with 3 on the tree and maybe that will help you to understand a little more room.Lets face it GM took the alpha platform chassis and built the GTO again and called it a Camaro with a few more bells and whistles.

Brian Makse There's another video of the 2016 Camaro, and the girl driving it is 5'8". She states that the seat is way too low and the doorway is very high for her. She also complains of the those two bulges of the speedometer that are on the driver's side. I just hope you can adjust the driver's and passenger's seat too.

Most car reviewers don't know how to sit properly, let alone drive. I've been teaching racing and high performance driving professionally for only about twenty years...

Yeah, it's a great looking car inside and out.... much better than the previous Camaro, IMO, BUT, historically Chevy and GM products have been near the bottom in terms of reliability. My 2006 Chevy Monte Carlo was the most unreliable car I've owned. I'd have to give the Ford Mustang the edge over the Camaro in terms of reliability.
