Corsa must've updated the part numbers for their exhaust systems. I specifically recall ordering this part number and it was 100% plug n play. The part number appears to be 14859.

I lucked out and found this Corsa exhaust on ebay for $700 brand new. They go for like $1200 to $1400. I installed a 2/4 drop on it.. The intake has been pretty good. I make sure to clean the filter every 3 months. What are you looking to do to yours?

Hey Man, yes anything underneath your car is subject to flaws and damage. I have some rock chips for sure, but it still looks good when it's all cleaned up and waxed :) It's got a very nice tone to it, not very loud where my neighbors hate me or hear me coming all the way down the street. Again, I still have cats on mine, but since yours are removed you should be getting the sound that you're looking for if you get this installed. If you really want LOUD, go with Flowmaster. Cheaper and very loud.

Thanks man! I think it really depends on the persons preference. I had Flowmasters before on another older truck, and I loved the way they sounded, but the sound could become overwhelming at times especially on long trips on the highway. Either you can used it or get tired of it. After buying this SUV, I really wanted to do it up nice and modern. I do tend to drive it in manual mode while i'm in the city so that I can enjoy the sound of the exhaust, but once I hit cruising speeds on the freeway, no drone kicks in and I can enjoy my music.

I actually bought the corsa sport recently for my 05 GTO. If I would have known they became so quiet after 6th gear, I would have went with slp loudmouth, to hold the sound. My intentions were to not have to get headers, but look like I will have to. What I don't like about most vids, they only show the exhaust at idle up close or continuously accelerating hard, over &over. If you notice, no one does simple cruise drive bys. Glad your satisfied! @@mikesalinas4437 what this is - is sporty yet mature. Perfect blend, louder (bold when you get on it and quiet for most cruising speeds). Plus 2015 and newer Tahoes have better sound dampening for reduced interior sound. I happened to go with Borla Touring with GM cold air intake upgrade and it's just what I was looking for. Gone are the days of Flowmaster on older cars.

I didn't notice any gas mileage increase, but I noticed an acceleration increase and It sounds a bit more aggressive with the Intake. This particular one cost me around $300 or so. I did the installation myself.

Does the kit have a resonator? I just luckily picked up 2 extreme Corsas and about to have my exhaust shop do a custom install on my 17 Tahoe. Just not sure if I should remove the factory resonator or maybe replace the factory one with a different one.

It came with it's own resonator. Didn't know the Xtreme sound was even an option for the Tahoes. I called and asked awhile back if they're going to make it available, but they said there were no plans. Are you sure it's not the Sport or Touring??

Thanks for the reply. The Xtremes aren’t a option. I happened to find 2 Xtreme mufflers from a different vehicle. I’m having my exhaust shop custom install one. Just wasn’t sure if I should have them take off the factory resonator or maybe even install a different resonator.

Crazy thing. I got the exhaust done. Cut off the stock resonator and have the shop install the Xtreme muffler. It’s quieter then yours. I don’t get it. I was expecting it to be pretty loud. Don’t sound too bad and no drone which is great but just surprised on how quiet it is

@@juanarmenta2666 mine doesn't have air ride. To be honest, it might be better to leave it as is. The air ride is there to make your ride quality as smooth as possible. You might want to look at getting the front leveled to the back instead. They actually look pretty cool like that. With some nice meaty tires too.

Nice man! It'll give your engine a bit more HP and you'll notice a bit more of an aggressive sound from the engine and exhaust. What the Intake does is suck in more and cooler air for increased airflow to your engine, which results in an increase in horsepower and torque. Not by very much though. And it just looks badass inside the engine bay :) I have another video explaining the install process on the Blackhawk Intake. Check it out man!

If you have your foot down on that accelerator you're going to awaken the beast. You'll hear drone and the 5.3 come to life. When you're coasting at low speeds or highway speeds the no drone kicks in and you don't hear anything.

Nice man! There are a few other intakes that give you a bit more power than this Blackhawk one. I was recommended to an AFE Cold Air Intake after I installed this one. I just really like how this Blackhawk one looks under the hood. Also, I did lower it. It has a 2/4 drop

It's actually pretty smooth for the most part. When I do have my truck full of people and I hit a pothole or a nice dip on the rode, it does bottom out. I don't have a full truck all the time, so it doesn't happen often.

I have a K&N Blackhawk CAI. AFE is definitely a better intake when it comes to performance. Blackbear ran tests with a few different Cold Air Intakes and AFE gave the higher performance rates. HP increase etc.. The intakes true performance comes out after getting it tuned.

Hmmm. Corsa only makes one exhaust for this model Tahoe and it's in Sport tone. If you have that and the Blackhawk intake, not sure why it doesn't sound like mine. Again, this is just a cold start, so it does sound a bit louder and deeper. If I were to start it after driving for a bit, I wouldn't have that same exact sound.

Tone is too raspy sounding for a Tahoe in my opinion. Needs to be a little deeper and not so loud at idle. I say this from having numerous exhausts in my life and knowing that a deep raspy or rumbling idle doesn't always mean a good interior or road tone. I have the Vararam Tri-Power forced air induction intake system on mine with long tube headers and y-pipe, Borla cat back with the Diablosport in-tune i3 tuner to account for the rear O2 sensors delete, cats delete and to deactivate the AFM (Active Fuel Management) system. Fuel mileage and performance is far better than I expected and my 2007 Tahoe runs and sounds great.

@@malvizar85 use Diablosport in-tune i3 tuner, Vararam V3 ram air, Speed Engineering long tubes or short tubes, be sure to get high flow cats or a headed back kit so you don't end up needing a custom tune because of the deleted cats. Check Ebay and Google. Vararam is great to deal with and is located in Pasadena,Texas and can ship anywhere and their ram air far surpasses that of the "cold air intakes", no matter which high end brand you use. All these mods add up to some nice power and torque numbers from simple bolt ones and plug and play performance accessories.

Thanks man! Yeah, I put a 2/4 lowering kit on there. The rims are 24" Gloss Black GMC Replica's wrapped in 395/35R24 Federal Tires. The ride still very smooth and comfortable. I dealt with a bit of tire rubbing with my front tire and inner wheel well at the beginning, but it's been taken care of.

That's awesome man!! Can't go wrong with Corsa. The tune I'm looking to get done is from Blackbear tuning. As far as mods, I've done quite a bit. Emblem removal, Vinyl Wrap all chrome, Installed lowering kit, New wheels and tires, window tint, intake, and exhaust.

I wish it were that simple. Can't get away with straight pipes here in California because of the emissions tests. Next best thing is to have a Cat-Back exhaust to still give you that nice aggressive sound while having your cats. Plus the wife & kids appreciate the no drone.
