But for 1000bucks more is the 800 better? Its not that i don't like this bike but its biggest drawback is the price. If it was 2000 dollars less i'm sure it will sell maybe even better than its bigger brother.

If you are a more experienced rider, or just plain looking for a bike that you won't outgrow as fast, then the Scrambler 800 will be a better fit.

ripmax333 Get the 800 even if you’re a new rider. You’ll quickly learn to handle it and then you’ve got so much more power if and when you need it. The throttle is always mentioned because it’s snatchy but the truth is that’s it’s fine. You release that clutch gently as you should and it’s not going to jump on you.

here in europe 800cc cost 2,5k bucks more than 400. imho 400cc is more than enough for city and weekend touring, u wouldn’t go faster than 130 km/h at naked bike like that - it’s uncomfortable and it’s illegal. can’t understand why u americans always want to ride bigger and bigger engines

hey adam waheed, glad to see you still doin reviews, remember you from moto usa days if am not wrong. the advantage of this bike seems to be looks and weight wise, more premium components and i want to know specifically if the suspension can be made softer and how would it feel then? do the brakes have the best feel in the small displacement class? ( front, rear ) is the ground clearance enough to over a curb and not grind? (i would need that) goin side to side what would feel lighter and heavier than this in it's class? thanks man. please consider answering these questions in your future reviews.

What's up Walid? How's it going? The advantage of this bike is mainly the size - it's smaller and easier to handle for smaller folks or those that simply want a less powerful motorcycle. It's the Scrambler your lady would ride. The suspension setup on this thing is lighter/softer than the full-size 800. I suppose you could swap out the fork and shock springs for even lighter-weight coils if you wanted to... That said, because the suspension is so soft there isn't a whole lot of ground clearance either - if you try to hop a curb, you will bash up the header pipe.

I Hope you do a review when Benelli Leoncino comes out, that bike not only looks better but atleast on paper seems to have a better Engine with higher torque and power at much lower RPM

Great video ! Between this Ducati Scrambler Sixty2 and the BMW G310R, which one is the best ?
@RidersDomain
@RidersDomain 7 жыл бұрын
Awesome - glad you liked it. Well the Sixty2 is a little bit more versatile, after all, it has a Twin cylinder engine instead of a Single. It is 60% more expensive (U.S. pricing) than the BMW however.

Does it have combined braking system (linked brakes) - when you press front brake lever, brakes are applied to both front and back calipers? Is that what ABS does?

The G 310 R will be better. It's easier to ride and has lower operating costs.

Smallest Ducati in terms of displacement??? Ducati even has a 50cc! :[
@RidersDomain
@RidersDomain 7 жыл бұрын
At the moment, in the US, that is correct. The Scrambler Sixty2 is the smallest displacement motorcycle you can purchase.
