Don't stress over the opinions of other collectors. We all have our differences in what we like and we don't like. If you like these dolls that's more than ok and if you don't like these dolls that's more than ok as well. They're dolls. That's it. I have learned over the years that some people take their collecting more seriously and I respect that. They see things that a lot of people don't and it turns them off to dolls like this.

umm...I really love all three of them! They may not be super flashy, but I think they are tasteful and beautiful. I like the snow globe packaging idea, but I wish the packaging had a little more "Wow" factor to it, they could have done more with it. I feel this way because I would keep them in the package ;)

Im also really bad about personally comparing holiday Barbies of today to the ones from the 90s. I wanted to give these a fair chance since it's the first time Mattel offered something different. I'm also a sucker for beautiful AA dolls and new face sculpts.

They look really nice, but my favorite holiday barbie is still the ones from the late 90's. I still have my 1997 Holiday Barbie and just love her. However glad for more selection this year. I love the skin tones on the new dolls.

You should get your hands on the k mart exclusive holiday Barbie . They have been making one every year for the past 5 years. The 2016 one has red hair. I always try to get the exclusive ones cause they seem more like a collector holiday doll.

Well, they could have done more for the dolls but I do love the face of the Barbie in a blue dress :) I also like the gradient and shimmery fabrics the dresses are made of, they look lovely and elegant :)

I went to Target today and I saw the 2017 Holiday Barbies. Making comparisons, I like how '17 has a fun and festive star on their backs. The red dress is pretty too! I wish that the dress would come in three colors with the three different dolls like '16 though. I like the Barbie face mold more in '17, though I like the other two's face molds more in '16. Overall, I think I may like '17 Holiday Barbie more only by a bit. Mainly because the makeup and face mold Barbie has brings me back a few years :) If you do a review on the 2017 Holiday Barbies, I'm looking forward to it!

+Julius Maloney I've said it before and I will hold true to this...80s/90s Barbie will always reign supreme. I do appreciate holiday dolls from the 90s. I don't neccesarily "dislike" these dolls. I do think they're pretty but Mattel has made them more playline over the years and it's just not the same.

Jay Squared I'm missing about 6 of the original Holiday series and I agree there is something lovely about all that big hair and crazy bi dresses... I have collected the most recent ones as I kind of like the glamour of each year (I really wish they would put stands in the boxes like they used to, but I think Mattel has decided most people keep them boxed). These are just a little less sparkly than I'm used and are almost like New Year dolls and more play line than I'm used to. :)

I think that these dolls are really beautiful but I can see why some people dislike them.They are definitely boring looking compared to the previous Holiday Barbie dolls.Mattel has really cheapened down the quality of Barbie dolls lately,which is really sad.

I love the face sculpt of the African American barbie. I will be purchasing only her. The cacausian is just ughhh. That new face will never grow on me lol. Cute packaging Idea though. they seem more play line now more than ever. There appeal gets cheaper as the years pass. The red dress Barbie facemold is really beautiful but it is from a year now in the playline dolls. I have a doll with same face, she is from "Made to move" collection. She is absolutely the same, just the colour of eyes and lips is different. And the blond one is also that same face from the playline doll I think.

I don't know, this face looks completely the same to brown-haired Teresa with the blue top from M2M line. Of course, heads on collector dolls are smaller, so it looks better.

I believe that this years dolls are rather boring but if I had a chance to take parts of the three dolls and focus on one design I would lake the green skirt doll and change her green skirt to red,have her have the blue skirts pose,give her a new hair due,give her a closed smile with red lips,give her a gold necklace and bracelet,and lastly red or pearl shoes

I found these dolls for 49.99 pounds Are you kidding me? All they have is a plain dress with a plastic thing on top. The 90's holiday barbies were around 20 to 30 pounds but they had detail , jewelry and beautiful dresses. These are just boring and lazy.

Packaging is great. The face sculpts are great. The dresses however, are horrible, utter trash. Mattel, look at your Holiday Barbies from 15-20 years ago. Where has the quality gone? Where are the intricate details? This is acceptable for a run-of-the-mill prom Barbie. Not Holiday Barbie.

+J Fe plenty of people care about the face sculpts. It's part of the entire package. You're free to share your opinion but I will agree to disagree. Are they phenomenal dolls? No they aren't. Mattel has been slacking off for quite some time with these holiday dolls. Again, we all have an opinion and yours is respected ;)
