Great to hear you got the bike back! I hope some form of insurance covered the engine works! Agreed that a bad fork is a really big issue on an off road machine. Have a slightly newer 350 with the coil forks and it's awesome. The 350 drive train also works awesome. Solid torque, less engine braking than a 450, efficient, long lived.

I ride a 16 TE250... I love this machine, no plans to get rid of it an time soon. I agree, the stock 4CS forks are awful, worse after springing the bike for my 240lbs weight... I installed Dal Soggio RAY kit and use Flexx Bars. This made a huge difference, this fork set up now works very well in the slow, rough New England terrain I ride in. Interesting story on this bike... I'm glad its back with you, I hope it gives many more years of great riding 👍
