I have 2 buses the Ic ce and a thomas saf-liner c2 and they are both 2020. But that bus seems quite not faster than both of mine and quieter. IC CEs are my favorite though. And keep up the good work busmaster

Our ICCE buses have a PSI 8.8 L engine. Our Chevrolet Collins buses have the 6.6 L gas in them.

Still in 25? Looks like a pretty nice bus. Illinois Central was supposedly ordering a fleet of brand new 2017 CE's. They haven't been delivered yet; not sure if they even will be, still, or if that was just a rumor. They're going to have to order some brand new buses here pretty soon, if they haven't already. Some of their units are getting fairly old and unreliable. One of the 1st gen Visions was in a bad accident with a garbage truck this morning; wouldn't be surprised if that one will pulled from service. 1607 (the 2005 Vision I was in for my first three years of high school) was pulled from service over the summer and sold to a church. We've now got 2866, a former spare 2010 CE with a brand new Cummins (mechanic blew the old MaxxForce in it). Very similar dash to this bus, as far as the layout. Hopefully I'll be able to get a video if it pretty soon.

Was bus 1450. From what I could understand from the radio transmissions, she got t-boned by a garbage truck. When the mechanics and safety manager got out to the scene in the shop truck, they had to call for a tow truck. They said 1450's driveshaft was literally split in half. While I cannot be sure it was totaled, the damage sounded pretty bad to me, enough to make me think that bus might not see service again. Many companies are retiring these old Visions anyway, so I don't see too much use in putting all that repair money into it. Thank goodness there were no students on board. That would have been a nasty situation. I have no idea, actually. All my bus driver told me is that somehow one of the mechanics blew the engine out, so they had to do a swap.

+msj191961 Well if the driveshaft was split I'm pretty sure pretty much bus crucifixion. That bus probably won't ever roll again. Hope the driver's alright. We had a 2012 CE die on us.. Bus 27. Don't know how, don't know where, don't know why. All I know is that she's using Gross Bus 27 (our contractor has a 1-30 set of buses and we have a different 1-30 set, for some reason) our buses are #1-99.
