2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon: Review

Had a '12 and got rid of it for a '15 Dodge Challenger R/T Scat Pack. Just ordered a '18 Rubicon Unlimited (keeping the Challenger). Hey, what can I say, I missed my Jeep. :D ...And you aren't gonna get anywhere near 21 mpg on the highway. You'll be lucky to get 17-18 mpg on the highway...IF you're lucky.

How do the Unlimited Rubicon trail rated jeep do on the freeway? Is MPG better? Does it shake a lot during high speed on the freeway?

thanks very much beautiful review I have a question guys if you can answer me please I love this job and I know this is not a sport car but... I drive this car in a little bit i scared and I explain why when I drive the road I make a u-turn and it's very scary the car slippery and not saved when you speed.. I have to drive very slow and this car? they have some solution somebody know? thank you I appreciate somebody answer... again I love this car and I want to buy but I'm confused

eliran gibli u just have to understand that the way this vehicle is built its top heavy. Ur not going to get the same handling performance out of this vs any other vehicle, but in the same aspect ur not going to find another vehicle as Offroad capable as this is off the showroom floor. Hoped this helps.

Looks good except the cockpit. It looks very very cheap with that plastic. For 38K they could have done better in ny opinion

People who buy jeeps don't care about what plastic it has. You buy it for the off road ability.

The Wrangler's interior plastics are far superior to FJ, Raptor, 4Runner, Tacoma and so on. Stop by a few dealerships and try them out. Then check out a few used ones with some mileage. You'll find the plastics/leather and so on might be basic looking - but they are strong and very durable. Right off the bat you'll find the plastic lacks that concerning hollow sound when you tap/knock on it unlike others. I've put 45,000mi on my 2013 Rubicon and 10,000mi on my 2015 Rubicon. Have had the interior entirely filled with mud to where I had to pull the carpet out, hose everything out the drain plugs, simple green the leather and trim. My big dog is jumping in and thrashing around all seats every weekend. Have had the doors/roof off a ton, subjecting the interior to the Texas sun and weather. Once it's cleaned off, it look like new with no signs of wear on the leather or plastics. The numerous times I've considered buying a lightly used Raptor (30,000mi-50,000mi), the plastics are not looking too great and they squeak/rattle. The fake leather is heavily worn out. The steering wheel is peeling. Everything is faded and such.

4 low mode?.. sigh.. can we get a review from an actual jeep guy... you should have been in 4 high on the beach... duh.. but then, an ACTUAL JEEP GUY would already know that
