as long as i have known Taeyong, he definitely did not forget the lyrics,, he wrote those lyrics himself by the way,,, at this point of the time, Taeyong's stability for long rapping was not the best so he runs out of breath quickly,, unlike his 2018 self who can complete a whole CHAIN'S verse at a go without losing his breadth.. i am proud of this performance though.. Taeyong's ability was noticed.. he is now very stable which i am glad of.. so he only ran out of breadth unfortunately.. but our rookie leader made up for it

fire truck is one of the most difficult choreographies since it takes a lot of dynamic and good breathing. NCT as rookies proved to do it without any problems and with voices stable. the fact that taeyong ran to do the collaboration with jooheon after fire truck and have been able to make a rap like that and just fail a lil bit with breath makes it clear to me that he is the best trainee that has ever existed and the Idol that every day is surpassed even more himself

I hope Taeyong was'nt hard on himself after this performance, he's such a perfectionist with everything and he killed the rap. There was a 4 sec flubb where he forgot his lyrics but he made up for it by finishing up strong. SO THE BIGGEST QUESTION IS: DID TAEYONG FORGOT HIS LYRICS? I personally think he did not coz why would he forget his part in this huge performance and knowing thay he is attentive to every details and a perfectionist, I doubt it. In this video it did not show at all Taeyong's reaction or expression when that part happened so majority of you were assuming that he forgot it and also most of you forgot that he performed the exhausting choreo of fire truck so he might be breathless. Also, why dont you consider that there must be a problem with the mic. I saw a fancam and he didnt look like he forgot the lyrics at all. He paused and catched his breathe or it could be part of the performance I really want to celebrate this performance coz Taeyong finally get to be recognized as a good rapper after this. It took him 2 years(when Open the Door was released), debuted in 2 units, featured in MVs, performed in SMTOWN concerts,SMRookies show and 3 decent articles. Sorry for my english.

No hate really but I think he has breathing problems when he raps like you have to control your breathing when you're performing so things like this don't happen. For example (and don't hate on me), but even when Jooheon and I.M. head to do their hard choreos and rap while doing multiple songs not once did they run out of breath because they know how to control their breathing. Taeyong probably just needs to practice his breathing more because he's gonna need to know how to do that if he's going to dance hard and rap live.
