People who complain about JK having a "solo" stage (although the rest of BTS were on stage with him dancing, so it isn't actually a solo stage) get over yourself. No one complained about Jimin's dance stages, about V debuting as an actor, about the rappers doing mixtapes or Jin being on Law of the Jungle on his own, why must people complain whenever Jungkook does anything that puts the spotlight on him? JK is the main vocal of BTS, he did not choose that, the company did. That does not mean that he is more important than the other members. He does not choose the line distribution or his dance position. Don't be mad at him for being talented, BTS all support each other so please support all members as well. Besides, look how well this concept and song suits him it's insane! It suits the tone of his voice so well and his sharp dancing style goes well with the choreo. Be salty if you want, but all of BTS are talented and they all have their moments to shine. 🤗

Do you so called " Armys " not realise how far Jungkook has come? Do you not realise he is only fucking 19? I cant imagine doing half of what he's doing at such a young age. He has worked his ass off for years, practising over and over again so he can have moments like this. If you're a true army you would know that the other members DO get a spotlight! Jimin was the lead dancer SO many times and we were all proud mamas. When Jhope did boy meets evil we were so fucking proud of him. But God forbid Jungkook takes the lead in this. I am not defending him just because he's my bias but I am defending him as an army. Yknow, we TRUE armys know each and every boy so well they basically feel like family. We know their personalities and we know what each member wants to pursue. All the antis will never understand what I am talking about but armys will relate to me on a spiritual level. Like I genuinely love these boys, I care about their being more than anything. It truly devastates me when I read all this crap about Jungkook always being the centre of attention. I personally never felt like he was, all our boys are equally loved and appreciated and they all have their moments. Remember Suga's mixtape? was he the centre of attention as well? What about Jimin in perfect man? no? I guess its only Jungkook. I swear this boy could go to the bathroom and people would start making up stories about him being narcissistic or selfish. here's the thing, Jungkook is SUCH a shy person, he may seem like a beast on stage but trust me he is like a cupcake, a precious one too. He gets mad at himself when he doesn't sing well or dance well. He always pressures himself to give us the best performance ever, and every time he would blow us away. Being 19 with such a draining, hectic life is unbareable. Would it be that terrible to shine the spotlight on him for one performance on new years? I am really proud of the real armys tho because we all get each other, We're all a family and all you haters are never going to bring us or the boys down. This is the only fandom and I have felt so interactive with such amazing people and with the boys as well during Vlives. We all love each and every boy so very deeply and will support them no matter what. Jungkook did an AMAZING job that night. I am so fucking proud of how far he has come and how more confident he is now on stage. He deserves oceans I tell ya. So if you're a person who thinks Jungkook should tone it down then you obviously have NO fucking clue who he is or what is going on so kindly fuck off. I have one thing to say to all the haters. Since the beginning, Jungkook's always been given more lines than the others and it isn't just because he's the fan favourite... he has a stable voice, he dances well and if we're being honest, his voice DOES suit a lot of the songs that they cover - he's versatile with his voice. Yes, it isn't always fair that he gets more than the others (i.e hyung line), but I think that the people in charge of BTS probably know more than us what would be better suited for the songs to give the best performance... you have to remember as well that these cover performances never cover the full song - we get a 2 minute snippet of a verse and a chorus (most songs are 3-4 minutes long), so there isn't always the option of giving EVERYONE a line. I don't want this to end in a massive argument, but do any of the people complaining think about how Jungkook feels? I've seen complaints like this since I first became a fan of BTS at the beginning of 2014; I'm pretty sure he's aware that he gets a lot more lines and opportunities than the others, I'm also pretty sure that they're aware of the way some of you feel regarding it, but it isn't like it's their fault the line distribution is the way it is. I don't want to bring Jimin into this (as he's my bias T^T), but if you're going to complain about Jungkook getting all the lines, then why aren't you complaining about Jimin getting all the stages while you're at it??? I mean, after all, Hoseok is just a good a dancer as he is, but where are his stages? That's the general sentiment I'm getting from the angry comments, "why is this person always getting the lines when so and so could do it" :/ and just like Jungkook, Jimin received those stages because the opportunity arose, such as the modern dance which we know he was suited really well for. In the 2014 Mama, it was RapMon, Jimin and J-hope that got the attention, in the Perfect Man cover it was mainly Jimin, Jungkook and J-hope, in the KBS Hype Stage(?), V was front and centre, when BTS covered TVXQ's "Something", JIN was one of the MAIN features... It really depends on the performance that they're going to be giving and to be perfectly honest, I think that they've been spot on most of the time... Feel free to disagree - after all, it IS your opinion and I can't stop you from having it, but maybe if you could think about WHY they give Jungkook the lines... :( Just could you remember that whether or not you like that he has so many parts, he's still a member of BTS who has worked hard to perform these stages for us, the FANS, and he deserves some respect as such.

I don't even get how this famwar started just because Jungkook was the focus of this performance. This literally just popped out of nowhere. How come no one complained when Jimin had special stages showing his amazing contemporary dance? Or when Tae got to debut as an actor and sung osts with Jin? Or when Jin went to so many different variety shows? Or when Namjoon got to do the voiceover for the end of the year festival? Or when Yoongi got his solo mixtape? Or when Hope got the most lines, was centre for bst, and performed the intro at MAMA? I don't see how everyone just suddenly started hating on Jungkook for getting to dance solo and sing the most lines. I feel like the whole of 2016, I haven't got to see Jungkook actually getting his own special stages. He is such a precious boy who never says to himself "You've worked hard". Instead , he believes that he should work even harder than before . Jungkook is the type of person that always sets his standards to a new level every single time he achieves his goal, which means he will never be pleased with himself because he is always thinking of how he can work even harder than what he expects for himself. He also doesn't express his feelings well, actually, he is a very fragile person. He looks strong on the outside but sometimes just simple hate words like "Your acne makes you ugly" can make him feel so insecure of himself. I'm sure 2016 was a hard year for him, not only was BTS so busy, but he kept on injuring himself and even caught influenza during Fire era. Every member deserves their own moment to shine, and so I do not see a problem with this performance either.

A.R.M.Y these days... If you're going to hate on Jungkook or any other of the members just because they get a solo part, then leave the fandom! If you're joining KPOP, you need to learn not to be so biased [but, don't you have a bias- SHUSH]. Jungkook, Jimin, and Taehyung may be overrated and favorited by a majority of the fans, but just because he's too popular or he got the solo and no one else did doesn't give you a right to just hate him. Jin sings solo, and the crowd gets crazy, etc. [I'm not excluding any members here] But when Jungkook receives a solo, everyone dares speak ill of him. Do you know how that would make him feel? This stage is really special for BABYZ. Last time BAP covered Mirotic, it was only Daehyun and he didn't get to sing the high note despite that being his talent. That performance was also memorable because it was right before the lawsuit, where TS forced Daehyun out of the hospital and made him perform with the iv still on his hand. I'm glad to see BAP happy and healthy and Dae finally getting to sing his heart out for one of his fave idol groups. It's not the same feel as DBSK, they made the performance their own. Jongup leading the dance, Youngjae starting out, Zelo rapping, and Himchan covering vocals. May 2017 be their year and Yongguk recover well. This is a wonderful memory for me as a Baby and as someone who grew up during the Golden Era of Kpop and knew DBSK before the split.

kagnomi Although BAP put their style on the song, it did not lose its TVXQ vibe, this is by far the closest rendition to the original song. I checked out Mirotic covers, tho it were good covers, those rendition were so new generation and had lost the TVXQ vibe. BAP manages to retain the original spunk of the song, not to mention their steps were patterned so close to the original steps, and 5 of them on stage, left little to the imagination, so DBSK, which is of course a 5-man group. I love how they put a bit of BAP and more of TVXQ in this wonderful tribute befitting the legends of kpop. ❤

I think why BTS hyung member end up become jungkook back up dancer is because they want to support his maknae. Even BTS member share the practice video at twitter and never complain to become their maknae back up dancer. Youngjae's singing also suits this song. Jongup is an amazing dancer but he can really sing it. Sometimes ARMYs are so careless on BTS' feelings. Imagine being JK or JM. You do your best and show amazing performances, and then you google it and see people saying "you don't deserve this amount of attention." It really hurts. I've read some comments like "jhope is the best dancer". Okay, he is know as the dancer machine. It doesn't mean he is the only good dancer. If I were JM, I would be really hurt by comments like this. He is the main dancer, so why ARMYs are not happy for him? We should all show how proud we are bc JM and JK did really well on their solo stages. When Boy Meets Evil was released, nobody said anything like "Where is 'Lie' dance mv?" or anything like this. Now people keep complaining. Every member has his time to shine and we should be proud of them, not comparing and make them feel competitive or sad. Please, stay supporting BTS! All members of BTS.
