You can open the sunroof even more by pressing the button 2 times. and if you want to get more cargo space without pulling the seats down, you can put them in a different position. so you get an almost 90 degree angle to put some boxes or travelling stuff in it.

I purchased a 2017 Mini Clubman All4 on Nov 30, 2016. On the way home from buying it, with six miles on it, the right headlight malfunctioned. Despite five visits to the Mini dealer, this was NEVER corrected. The left brake light also malfunctioned on a regular basis and was NEVER corrected, despite many trips to the Mini service department. The active cruise control would regularly refuse to activate. When I could get it to activate, it would brake startlingly for shadows cast by bridges onto the road, for shadows of passing cars, and for abrupt headlight illumination changes cast by passing cars or cars that I passed. This was exceptionally disconcerting. Furthermore, the audio system was very, very frustrating. The Bluetooth would connect to my iPhone and display the artwork for songs, and display elapsed time for the songs, but I could not hear any music! The AUX jack failed. And, on two occasions, the radio preset buttons would not work, once displaying the message "Function Not Available" and once displaying "NO SIGNAL". I have posted videos of these failures on You Tube. Just search for "Mini Disconnected" or my login, echowhiskeybravo. The Clubman did handle nicely and I really liked the interior, the three-piece folding rear seats, and the tailgate doors. And the people at the Mini dealer were all very nice people. But it's just too bad that the electronics are such as mess!

My 3 Series lever is the same. 1 pull to release the main locking catch, another to release the safety. After this you can pull the bonnet straight up - no need to fiddle blindly for that elusive catch.

Thats quite sad. I have a friend that bought a second hand 08 Mini, and since he bought it, it had the engine light on. The interesting part is that the car works perfectly fine, lol. And i think the dealer didnt know the reason of said light, not sure.

Myk, a huge issue with the MINI brand is that they can never make them consistently. One year, it's solid and has decent reliability, the next year, it's a ticking time bomb: the a/c fails at 45,000 miles, the gaskets blow at 50,000 miles, then the transmission goes out at 51,000 miles. Then, they start all over again and new problems crop up. They fix the problems next year but then the problems come back two model years later! MINI is one of the most inconsistent quality brands I've ever had and I would NOT recommend the brand if the customer is looking for a consistently high quality car.

largol33t1 i think its because they are designed for the european market where it wouldn't be used likely for anything over 100,000 miles hence all the issues, then again i would say a fiesta is better as the parts are cheap we had one for 9 years and around 120,000 miles but it had loads of problems after 5 years and constantly needed new parts
