A comprehensive overview of a little known subject. I 'fall' if I tip my head back while sitting in a chair. I love the phrase 'maybe we are not good at measuring it' because thats true of so many things. The denial of symptoms are often based on the medical professions inability to measure them. The failure of a professional to measure or not have a means to measure, does not mean that symptoms do not exist. Denial only means that the measure of the ego is greater than the ability to measure the symptoms in the patient. Denial adds to the patients problems. Like they dont have enough already.

The medical profession is very poor at working with new ideas. Always has been. Ask Semmelweiss.

I’ve listened to your talk over and over. My cardiologist ordered my tilt table and diagnosed me with NMH, which he admits can be disabling. But.... he doesn’t believe ME/CFS exists. Last time I was there he said “everybody gets tired sometimes.” I wanted to say something ugly but I didn’t. He’s a good guy and I know he’ll come around.

Perhaps it's a blessing in disguise when an allopathic doctor dismisses a new condition, or new to them since they never cure anything but keep you reliant on following their research which is just an endless inquiry into how things work on the surface so they can attempt to reverse what goes on there but never explore what goes on underneath in our minds and souls or all around us in our collective consciousness where you can find a better view of what's really going on with human suffering. Ironically when someone says "it's all in your head" they unknowingly probably have a great point. Problem is how does one get something out of their head.

I have been extremely sick for the past 5 years and in and out of Hospitals. I'm currently under the care of an amazing Neurologist at Emory and have just been tested for the Antibody Ganglionic Receptor Inhibitor. The results should be back in a few weeks. Without a doubt after watching this video, I feel it will be coming back with Autoimmune Ganglionopathy. I haven't been able to find hardly any information on the internet about this condition. Thank you so much for posting this video so that I can better understand what is most likely happening to my body and making me so sick. Looking forward to getting diagnosed so that I can finally get well!

@33:00 Gradual exercise while laying sounds good, but Staci Stevens group says most CFSers can't do aerobics over 5 min without worsening symptoms. So I emphasize take exercise slowly and individually (Edit: @55:00 you say something similar)

I wish you would have shared what the antibody was in the third case, it could really help other people.
