Half of you are thinking as fans and not as a company, wtf would this car come with a Turbo and cannibalize the WRX sales? Because it would put them in a very similar price bracket. It's a budget based track tuner, a blank canvas with excellent handling. Treat it as such.

If Toyobaru should be shamed for anything, it's putting those awful all-seasons on there. An upgrade to nice summer tires is inexpensive and makes this car tear through corners like Dwayne Johnson tears through a plate of cod, and can knock 2 seconds or more off lap time.

Scions get a lot of flack but they really are terrific cars. I own a TC, and ive driven the xB and FRS. they are great values and don't loose what is really important, driving feel. The FRS isn't trying to be the next supercar, if anything it is trying to be an alternative to the miata. It is, and its different in a lot of ways, too. Like say for example if you want a roof or a trunk that you can actually use. If you are into modding and want power, pop a turbo in this thing and watch it soar. If you want something just for power, get a fiesta ST, or a GTI. They're great cars too and the same price range. Even at that the GTI has just barely more power than this car. Anyways, cars aren't all apples to apple. Stop hating what is already the next big track car.

Personally, I have always liked the Scion FR-S more than the Subaru BRZ, but I still think they should both offer more than just 200 horsepower being modern day "sports cars". As for the BRZ, call me crazy, but a sports car from Subaru?... I still kind of find that a bit odd to the extent where it's hard to trust. Regardless, they can both be better. The exterior looks fine as always, but the interior and specs need some work. And it's not just the FR-S, it seems to be all Scion cars. Most of them look great, but offer poorly outdated interior features, etc.

Smooth out the power band and shorten the shift throws. It is a sports car so ditch all this pointless tech and focus on shaving weight, improving handling dynamics, or getting some more power out of that FA20 engine. Also 93 octane is hard to come by in America these days so maybe find a way to get it to like 91 equally. Anyway great car, just wish you knew how to market it right and stand by it the way Mazda does with the MX-5 Miata. Also, please bring back the Toyota MR2! The second gen 91-95 was just sports car perfection in my opinion.

matthew von Very funny, thats debatable, the FRS has a .89g skidpad and the veloster has .9g However the frs will forever remain slow unless nitrous or a turbo/super charger is added. Its a shame they neutered the FRS

Narcoti, I won't argue the Veloster is faster, features, etc... but skidpad has a lot to do with tires and chassis and in this case changing out the awful tires on the stock BRZ/FR-S's give it insane amounts of grip with the RWD. The Veloster got it's .9 on the r-spec model, that FR-S and BRZ when you upgrade the tires will jump to the .95-1 range. It's a track carver, not a speed demon.

In all honesty it's a drivers race and if both are manuals it comes down to skill. However if you are dig racing, you really have to dump and work the clutch on the FR-S's to make up for the torque deficit. Hyundai's are a mixed bag when it comes to power trains though, I think Kia did it better with the Forte 5's even though they are similar.

Scion listen to me... all you did is finally give the door speakers and knee pads the stiching which only comes in the monogram or release series, you then put a slightly more bigger exhaust tips, and a backup camera. Come on give the car the GT86 Head lamps that have the strip drl like the monogram or release series and also start getting the AERO KIT from Toyota in Europe to come to the USA or the TRD body kit. You guys here in the United States need to be sell these, I know a lot of people would agree that they would like to have these body kits on there car to make them look more better!

Man, overpriced for what you get! Looks like the new Civic Si 2016 will kill this car, matches or beats HP at 205, All computer dash, matching display for iPhone screen, LED head and tail lights, more space and leg room in the back seat, side camera for passenger side and rear, and a few thousand under this price... Plus I bought my wife a Camry and have had a bunch of problems with it that I should not , so Toyota is leaving a bad taste in my mouth, so to speak.
