Should you drain the coolant prior to changing the pump?

Next time leave the rubber band on, then start threading in two bolts to hold the pump on the block, then cut the rubber band off, a lot easier than holding it, that’s my method atleast

I am in the process of replacing a bad alternator. I have 2012 camry 2.5L. While removing the alternator (the 2 mounting bolt, one long upper, one short lower). I snapped off the head of the bolt of the alternator (the lower short bolt). Any suggestions to extract that broken bolt out? Thanks

I just use a 12mm 3/8 drive deep well socket with a long 3/8 drive flex headed ratchet to remove all the water pump bolts without going underneath.

Friend just had his go bad on his 2018, 4 cylinder. Toyota charging him $1,200. The OEM pump is $200 and that is like a $400 job in labor tops 😂😂😂
