A couple cool things you forgot to mention, under the driver's seat you have an awesome hidden storage compartment, and on the large front door pockets you can easily store an umbrella towards the back of the pockets as they have a nice cut out for that. Great review overall!

Excellent review as always Mike. The Sportwagen seems like a pretty nice car, fundamentally practical and with a simple but smart design. Good to see that Volkswagen offer US buyers a wagon where most other brands do not. They are quite popular in the UK and I like the extra utility they offer over a sedan.

Would anyone be able to help me out? My 2016 Golf Sportswagon will make a squeaky noise when in reverse on a steep slope, also when on a slope, when shifting to reverse the noise of the shift is very audible, when the car is on drive however it's super quiet and nothing seems out of the ordinary. Any suggestions?
