I bought a pair of air Jordans 1, black and red where in the back of the sneakers it says since 85, they are mostly black in the middle and red in the back and in the front and they have small tiny holes as the design in the sides. I bought them at the nike outlets here in Puerto Rico around 2010 - 2012 , which model are these? I want to fix the soles on them and maybe sell them in the near future ,they are in mint condition.

Frank V I have both and the black leather on the shadows is actually better than the black leather on the 2011 banned 1s but the red leather on the 2011 banned 1s is nicer than the gray on the shadows.

LeBeautiful Most channels really don't want to respond lol. I think of this as a community so it's great to interact. As for 2011, I think they quality/material use was a lot better. They feature soft tumbled leather all over, rolled seams. However I think that the 2016 is dope because it's closer to the OG.

2016 Closer to og height wise and shape wise aesthetically ... only thing better is black tumbled leather on 2011 banned pair and im actually not a fan of the x on the back of the 2011pair ... it makes it feel like too much of a novelty shoe !

I think the 2011 leather is a lot better. The 2011 doesn't have nubuck on them. It's super soft. I own the Shadows also and it's not the same. I guess we can agree to disagree but I respect your opinion.

Im pretty sure the reason that the shoe "bows out" on the heel like you said in the beginning is because they aren't laced up so nothing is pulling it together/choking them tight.
