I guess Cody didn't notice it realize that for the first time in decades, the Sportster now has an 18" rear wheel! Not that Super Glide wannabe 16". So of course it's going to sit taller! Sheesh, salesmen need to learn their products better :-/

I'm looking at a freeze frame of 0:13 and it looks like you're correct. That is to say I would imagine there would be slighty more fender at the back protecting the working bits from debris, water, etc., but it seems intentional. Is this a normal thing? I've never noticed it before.

Yes Brother this is a very commond fault. It is because the shop that assemble the bikes are not doing their job right. A shame actually.

gas tank is too small: the best compromise was the 2008 XL1200R who use the 17 liter gas tank from the custom version...and look better than the 12.5 liter tank...

3.1 gallon is better than the smaller 2.1. It makes a World of difference. With reserve you can go 140 miles. After about a 100 miles you'll want to stretch your legs.

The 2008 XL 1200R was a very good sportster like the 2007 with 2,1 galon. But the 17 liters is ugly. I custom my 2,1 in 4,4 (20 liters). Same apparence but more liters. I cuted my tank in 2 and I had welded a strip of metal in the middle.

Oh yes. An iron with a 1200, better shocks, inverted front end, 18" rear wheel, new wheels, new bars, upgraded tires, dual floating discs, a two up seat. But yes, apart from that, just an Iron.
