This was a great find! I watched another before finding yours and he just popped apart the case without further explanation. I was pulling and pulling and couldn't get the case to open.... then found your video and explanation on placing the key between the two notches and twist.... and guess what.... It magically came apart!! Thanks so much!! Very nice!

make sure all the buttons are in the correct position and have not shifted around, same for the circuit board inside - sometimes they do take a good amount of pressure to snap back together

Super helpful. I've paid too much, several times, at the dealer's parts desk to have them do this for me. I did use a large screwdriver rather than the key to pop the fob open.

Damm buttons came off when I was trying to pry the battery off. . Thank goodness I was able to get them back on. Tip try not to let the buttons separate from the face . It's a pain to get them back.
