She's pretty! A huge improvement from 2016! The 2017 Holiday Barbie is the tree topper Barbie. The gold star is something new and different. I think the Blonde version looks like Christina Applegate. When I first saw the Blonde 2017 Holiday Barbie inside her box in Summer 2017 I was wondering if the gold star behind her was apart of the box or apart of her dress. I thought that it would be so cool if the gold star was apart of her dress!

Merry belated Christmas to you guys! LOL. I like 2017 better than 2016, I'd have to say, but you are right, they really don't compare to the older ones. :-) I held off on getting this year's Barbie because I figured she would go on sale after Christmas, but then I found out that she was totally sold out everywhere! All three versions! I was really surprised by that and she was being listed on eBay for over $60. Luckily my brother found one for me at Walmart slightly on sale just last week, but I guess next year I'll just buy them at full price ahead of time, ha ha. Maybe they made less this year because they hadn't sold as well over the past few years? Anyway, your Christmas holiday Barbie series was one of my favorites to watch. I just love Barbie and I'm new to collecting the holiday ones so it was really fun to see them all!

Hi Farrah! Thank you very much for those late wishes! Agree totally on this years.... having anticipated these for the full duration I also noticed that these sold out of stores much quicker than usual. I was really hoping my mother had grabbed one in time which she did, thankfully. At my local stores, they never went on sale cause there was none left! LOL It was my guess that it was because she did look more or "extra" as they call it these days... and with the 30 year anniversary.. I thought that may have added extra buyers too. I shall get to review this years and I am glad you got one too! Little hint.... I put stuff in my amazon cart, then "save for later" this way with a little peek each day you can see a list of stuff you like, and when the price changes! I was watching that Barbie just in case an her prices were all over the board! It did hit the usual $30 at one point.

Hi! I am still unsure. I had opened the first few years and regretted it because at that time I moved more often. That made a bit of a mess of them and smooshed them while packing and such. Just today Iwas working on the review of 2018 and trying to put her on the shelf. I said it again, if I took them out of the box I would be able to fit more and fit them better.....but... they look so good in the box!!!! It is a hard decision! Tell me what you decide please. ANd why is 2008 the special one you want to buy? Did you see my review on that one too?
