I'm glad to see these are still run! Remember back in the last century when Jay Springsteen was the hot shoe.

About 50 years ago I raced in Atlanta on a track that is long gone to urban sprawl. Back then it was Dunlop, Pirilli and Carslyle tires. The Georgia clay stayed sort of a cush. These fat tires, Goodyear now Bridgestone, make everything a groove. By the way to that poster asking about banking, flat track is a name not a description. Some tracks are banked so high it is like riding in a bowl.. The only rule is no reverse banking.

The Indian motor has lots of power. I'm a little skeptical about it's origins but I guess Harley will have to play catch-up this time.

I would have thought Dixie had too much banking for the flat trackers to get on.

Good thing for instant Reply .. Meese did hit Halburt's foot earlier .. It's really strange it looked like Halbert tried to hit Meese with an elbow or handle bar.. I will say to both of them .. It's better to take a second place than to ride dirty or crash out..
