425lb is insane. My CBR600 is only 8lbs lighter. With 113hp. This will be my next bike. I’m waiting to see if they’re going to update for ‘24. They’re due. I really love this matte black though.

Stick to your 600 , IMO; with a 1000RR you generally use less than 70% of power, 100% is RARE. With a 600 you can squeeze out 90-95 % frequently.

What's the point of having so much power when you can not use it, at least on the road and not the track.

It's more than just peak power! For instance, the torque. The 1000 pulls easily in any situation and you don't have to go through gears that much

I like 1000cc bikes but they are an overkill for the road. Much more economical and wiser to ride a 600, İMO. $1000 for tyres every 6000km

​@adnan_Ok people prefer to have the extra power whem you needed instead kf not having it. 1000cc bikes are much more smooth and comfortable on the highway

Dude you really need to try the quick shifter my bike is also a 2017 but mine is slammed and stretched lol the quick shift is awesome!!!! Your gonna love it!!!! Thanks for the video very nice and informative for anyone that's not already familiar with this model of bike I love mine!!! More bike than I'm ever gonna need lol

I'm looking at buying the same bike I noticed when I started it the traction light was on and the abs light is that normal when running in neutral??

That's normal when you first start the bike. It goes away when you go over 10mph

I currently own a cb650r and thinking about getting a 2018 one second hand but almost brand new with just 4000miles in it...and specially this one because the new RRR price is insane at this point so any comments sugestiones input about this as a owner? Thanks

I also want to add theres a few mods you can do like remove the rubbers into the airbox add you a high performance air filter and straight pipe type exhaust and your gonna have 195 horse to the rear wheel versus 189 stock ok???

Rear wheel hp stock is 150. All the mods you mention will bump it up to 170, MAYBE 175. Ceck mooremafia youtube channel. He did these mods to the bike

Just some cheap mirrors from amazon which i don't recommend. If you like them buy some expensive ones

2017 and 2018 have anti wheelie integrated in traction control, 2019 has a seperate menu for that and on the black colour instead of red accents 2019 has grey

Only when you are low on fuel you get one and it comes on at around 35 miles left

Not a fuel gauge but it has the distance to empty and it comes on when there are around 40 miles left

Yes, EB is engine break. 1 is the most noticeable and 3 is the least

If you havent driven with a Quick Shifter you need to get on it, the 1000rr has up and down for the shifting.

When you installed the slip on did you attach the engine breaking cable? I have the same bike and would like to put a slip on, but don't want to mess up the electronics. Nice review. Thanks for sharing!

I had to remove the servo motor. I put a servo buddy, that's like 60$ but failed to work after 2 weeks or so. Then i found this info online on how to reset the engine light by bypassing some wires and it worked ever since

@@throttlechaser541 Did you notice a loss of low end power with the slip on? I know the factory exhaust has a valve that helps to maintain more torque low end before it open up higher in the rpms... was wondering before I add a slip on

it’s black tape over the weights used to balancing the wheel. all race tracks require it.
