Updated with a more modern and sporty look the 2017 Chevrolet Malibu looks like a great competitor in the mid-sized sedan space. After a week of driving an LT model I came away impressed by the drive, despite the lack of power from a small 1.5-litre engine. A ton of nice features and a quality build. I bought a 2017 Malibu a few weeks ago and I'm pleased for the most part.Smooth ride.Nice styling.But a little under horspowered.I live in Pittsburgh and the terrain,bad roads and hills in western Pennsylvania almost require a 6 or 8 cylinder

I have a 2017 LS. Auto Start/Stop feature is such a ridiculously stupid feature. If you have a choice, avoid it. Don't fall for the lines you'll inevitably get from the dealer. It doesn't improve MPG. It isn't at all similar to the functionality of an electric or hybrid vehicle engine. I'm not going to list everything from the "cons" list but just know that it's a red flag of deal breaking magnitude. Don't believe me? Think I'm exaggerating? If anything, I've understated my position. Autostart/stop is solely responsible for the Covid-19 pandemic and world hunger.

Wow, you are lame. Safety features won't allow full operation of the infotainment system while the car is in motion. How old do you have to be to not know that? "Um we might have to hold GM liable for"...yeah good one...yank yank

Liked the video. I will suggest tho. Doing some online research on the vehicle features. I don't buy a car until I've done my research on it. You missed a lot of things that were not only in adds on tv & online. As far as features is concerned. For example the "rubbery thing" where you put your phone. That's actually a wireless phone charger. Not just a pocket to insert your phone. So on & so forth....etc, etc, etc. My point is. Do your homework. Not just guess what something does or think it does. After all it's a car you will be driving. I'm just saying.... Thank you tho for allowing me to put in my 2 cents.

You have to get new tires, cooper Zion rs3 are great. I have a 2012 Malibu, the factory tires are awful.

Thanks so much for the great review & Particularly for Reviewing the LT trim. So many reviewers out there but they all review the highest trim models (which is what the auto companies want you to see) on the other hand most consumers actually buy cheaper trims. Same problem goes for most car reviews in general.

Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment. It is the luck of the draw sometimes on which cars we get to review, you are correct most of the time it's the loaded model unfortunately. Most buyer's tend to buy the mid-trim.

I looked at this for my brother, I'm thinking about buying a car for him. I saw this and and Altima today. Eventhough though people say GM vehicles suck I'd think I would buy this Malibu for him before the Altima I am seeing soooooo many complaints about their CVT issues.

Russ Andres lol Im a female so are spoilers exhaust pipes? And do the 17 Malibu comes with wireless charging. Are you having any manufacturing problems. Idk if I want this or a Kia Optima. I had a Kia before.

Piper Jones it’s the fin thing on top of the bumper. Mine did not come with wireless charging.

The fusion is available with a 2.5L NA or 2.0L Turbo or 2.7L Turbo or Hybrid -- sorry yes and 1.5L I missed that!

Hi! I have a question that how we turn off the background apps of the touchscreen othis car when we dont use it? Like the phone too many apps running they make the system overload and kind of slow down the system. that is quiet annoying!! Thank you!!!!

+tuan aoiwdhi according to my sources you should bring your vehicle back to the dealer for a check. They claim this should not be happening
