all trucks are good. but, for one critical aspect, I remain greatly dismayed. all brands use untreated steel for the frame. whatever the coating, these will rust, and even slight rust decreases the frame strength. none use galvanized steel, which would eliminate rust. prices are now +$50k and for this I expect galvanized steel, not cheaply painted or waxed steel.

i believe they dont really care about the frame as they are only designed to last like 20 years anyways. things will fall apart before the frame rusts through. it isnt just plain old mild steel. they do put alloy elements in them.

Galvanized steel rusts... It takes longer for it to occur, but it will rust. Aluminum doesn't rust... But it does erode over time...

Heartagram i know right, I love how chevy pulled the weight better than the ford and the dodge did. It's funny how the chevy is rated at 23,000 pounds but does better pulling at its maximum weight up the IKE,when the ford and dodge are rated at 31,000 pounds and did worse.🤷🏾‍♂️

Especially considering if you're pulling 30,000 on the regular you might as well invest in a used semi rather than a regular pickup. Plus I'd bet money that Chevy was conservative with their max tow rating numbers while Ram and Ford got caught up in a dick measuring contest.
