May I add my Wow to your sharing your work! Just beautiful tags for Christmas! YT brought up your channel in recommendations for me (now 2020). So happy they did! You could be a “demonstrator” for die sets, as you seem to be having so much fun showing how these work. I don’t have any dies, or Sizzix, as I never really understood how that worked plus expense. But WOW! I think I’ll save this video as a show & tell, if I add this to my creative stash. I’m sure anyone receiving any one of these tags you created, would be over the moon! So joyful! Hi Dar. Yes, I did have fun making these tags. It's going to my happy place in the craft room....lol I put some music on, make a cup of coffee, and let the creative juices flow as they may!!!! My love for bears started way back when I was a little girl. I can still remember my first bear....lol Not to mention on my honeymoon my husband and I went to "The Hugging Bear Inn" in Stowe Vermont. Wow, that place was loaded with bears with a gift shop in the basement. I came away with a couple back then too...haha. I'll try to do a video-but my decorations are now Pink!!!! Finding this video was just luck and now I'm hooked on taking a lot of my dies and making tags for ornaments. Love your colors and decorating ideas. When I saw the Hot Cocoa Cafe die, I went frantically searching for it to no avail. But that's OK, I have lots of the Cottage Cutz and it never hurts to get more. Will watch your other videos next.

CAROL, I HAVE A QUESTION FOR YOU! I have been enjoying watching these videos while I am crafting, so thank you! Now my question is How do you run the Cottage Cutz dies through your die machine? I just recently acquired some from a destash that did not come with any foam, so I want to make sure I didn't just waste my money on dies I can't use! PS. I have a Cuttlebug, and a Gemini Jr. machine. Thanks!

Awe how sweet Marie. Thanks so much for allowing me to keep you company while you craft. I have a cuttlebug machine. The new Cottagecutz dies do not come with foam. I have some of the other dies with foam and I prefer it without. I sometimes pull it out because I dislike it. I think JoAnn stopped the foam around 2010 so if you have the new dies no problem. I also have a cottagecutz shim that I purchased off their website in my cuttlebug when I die cut. If you are having problems getting the paper to come out of the die, use wax paper in between the die and your paper. Let me know how that works for you. Hugs and Blessings, Carol

Oh my gosh, Carol!!! These tags are the talk of the town. Wow, I love every single one. I’m just getting into Dies, because I’ve had my Cricut. I don’t have but only ten dies and I want more. Lol Gail. If you lived near me you could come and play with my dies. l like to share.....lol Aliexpress dies are pretty affordable. You might want to check that out. Also, if you wait until after Christmas, there are some good sales then too. For the tags I use Michael's 110 lb White paper. I cut two tags and glue back to back to make them thick. My friends and family have told me they hang their tags on their tree so I want them sturdy. The designer paper is Michael's as well. I use foam double sided sticky tape to create the dimension in the die cuts. I do the same with my Cricut Cuts too. Hope this helps. Thank you so much for you sweet comment. Hi Carol...Question...when you cut your paper from your dies do you use white paper on all your cuts or do you use color cardstock?

I use mostly colored cardstock. You will see on the "Cocoa" cup house though that I did cut some of it on white and distress inked it with brush corduroy to get a coffee/cocoa color on there. Hope this helps. Hugs, Carol

Hi Carol, I just got the Santa half moon die. Love it! I have a question on how you did your tags. Did you glue it on another paper and fussy cut it out? Did you do anything to re-enforce the hanging star? You did a beautiful job on them. Thanks!
